Seriously though, I'd like to know how he did it. The last time I checked, Honda (with millions of dollars, mind you) had *barely* got autonomous bipedal motion right. It takes a lot of fancy software just to walk properly, much less do complicated tasks such as cleaning.

I'm guessing the claims of it being able to clean house are a little stretched. I don't see any of the sensors required for a robot to move on its own in anything but a completely sparse environment.

EDIT: Nevermind, the video only now just started working. It can't walk yet, and that makes sense based on the amount he's spent.
