Soul Calibur 4 Game Play Teaser

I searched the first 3 pages of this section and didn't find the SC4 thread, so i'm making this thread to show off how unbelieveable this game looks. This will be a for sure buy for me, no questions asked, and this teaservideo just makes me want it more.

I made one a while back but it was only filled with Famitsu images. I am pumped for SC4!!!!!! =D

Iso posted the one that i actually ment to post. I saw the startings were the same and just posted it without watching it all the way through. Thats my bad.
 
No clue, but Yoda's for the 360 version and Vader is for the PS3 one, least from what I've been reading on it, but probably have the one not in the other version as DLC sometime down the line.

Totally badass. Soul Calibur now defies the laws of jedi and sith physics.

What next though?

II defied Time, space and dimensions with the console exclusive characters Link, Spawn and Heihachi.

IV defies time, space, dimensions, physics and god knows what else with Yoda and Vader.

What next?

VI makes the characters defy the laws of real life time and space, come to this dimension and suddenly cause the end of the universe?

Seriously though I do love the Soul Calibur games and I'm very exited to see Vader and Yoda in this game. One thing though, What about Obi-Wan and Luke?!
 
My god... the possibilities... Now when I whip Neyla's ass I can say "Luke, I am your father!" instead of "Who's your daddy?" Sweet.
 
You need to see the trailer with them included. Yodu beflects Astaroths axes with the force lmao. This is cool to me. I would like to play as both tho so i am hoping they wise up and stop the split platfoms thing.

I read about this late last night, and assumed it was a joke I was too tired to get. While I think it will be cool to Darth Vader the shit out of my opponents, it just doesn't make any sense.

Sooo many characters out there that would be a better fit as a SC bonus character.

Wouldn't their light sabers just slice through their opponent's weapons?

I dunno. I think its weird. Not good weird, or bad weird. Just weird.

They're just bonus entries. Not like they're anywhere near canon.
 
I doubt you'll be able to buy the other's console exclusive character. Seems like wishful thinking, even though Yoda versus Vader would be cool.

Personally, I doubt I'm buying either. With Tekken 6 looming over and Virtua Fighter 5 still feeling fresh, I doubt I'd get enough hours out of Soul Caliber to make it worth more than $20.

I've really enjoyed Soul Calibur's weapon-based combat ever since a friend of mine showed me II ages ago. Moreso than most other fighting games. But that's just me.
I'm sure I'll be picking this up when it comes out. Don't think I'd want to touch either exclusive character though(just seems so out of place, at least Heihachi and by a stretch Link made sense in II :/).
 
Looks cool, can't wait to play as them.
