did you see the parody on April fools day? where he dressed up as Al Tahir (sp?) from Assassins creed? I think it looks a bit like that
 
Yeah, I saw the Assassin's Creed suit. It just looks like he has long hair and wearing a different type of sneak suit rather than the Octocam.
 
They would have to give the 360 another unique character, and the 360 doesn't have a character that would really fit in the soul calibur universe as well as kratos would.
 
Ryu is on PS3 though too so not so much.

Well yeah, but he still isn't a console exclusive so it really doesn't work.
 
true, I guess Kasumi, or another character from DoA that's a ninja could work

On the subject of Kratos though... I know of another Kratos that Namco MIGHT add because their studios created said Kratos...

That could happen, after all Namco added Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia to a SC game.
 
Meh, looks okay but similar style to sigfreid, hope shes not a clone. Also shes designed by a character designer who worked on My-Hime and My-Otome, anyone see a resemblance? lol
 
If Ryu appeared in Soul Calibur, it would make Tomonobu Itagaki's blood pressure rise.

Itagaki is Namco's nemesis. He hates Tekken with a passion and damns Namco in general. Of coarse Itagaki has no say in where Ryu Hayabusa ends up. Ryu "was" his greatest weapon in the industry. I'd reckon Itagaki left behind a permanant impression with Namco and it would probably be a freezing cold day in the earths core before Namco will take Ryu into the Soul Calibur universe.

EDIT: I think Kratos will either be an expansion character we can download for the PS3, or he'll show up in SCV if they ever make one.

The Mother of all rumors and the last one I'll talk about until we can find out for sure. I have strong doubts about these though.

1. PS3 version will have the option to download Master Yoda for $3.

2. Xbox360 version will have the option to download Lord Vader for $3

3. SCIV for PS3 has been holding out, and we really are getting Kratos.

It has to do with Namco's insulting radio comment about Dead of Alive. Ever since that, Itagaki claims his top 5 most hated games are Tekken 1, Tekken 2, Tekken 3, Tekken 4, and Tekken 5.

It's funny how he would diss Tekken and not even start with Soul Calibur. SC has always been Namco's best when it came to technical aspects.

He's an entertainingly arrogant director, and if he could clobber Namco, he'd do it in a blink of an eye.
