Soul Calibur VS. Tekkan

There is. I am looking for it bud. It is the guy from 1up.com. He was the guy to break VF news far before it was announced. Said he also knew of Tekken coming. He had some comments from Namco also. But w/e its not a great game honestly. Fluid motion, yes please. Not choppy kicks and glitchy movement ;;

Well like I said, I don't really trust announcements unless they come from the company itself. I mean, afterall there are so many rumors that never come true and everything gets published by game sites desperate for hits. Eventually if you keep changing aliases around and saying possible things, you're going to be right, especially if you say likely things like like a 360 or PS3 game with low technical specs and a large fanbase getting a port.

Doesn't mean Tekken isn't getting ported. Doesn't mean it is. All I'll say it it's likely because Namco seems to love Xbox 360 lately. Then again for all we know Sony's bought exclusivity. Who knows?

Tekken feels to generic most of the time.

The only real downfall of the SC series is that Namco doesn't actually try all that hard to make sure everything is balanced - look at SC3 for evidence, they even freely admitted they didn't put that much work into balancing it out - because their target audience, at least for SC3, was casual home players.

I'm really hoping they fix that for SC4 and actually put more effort into balancing out the characters because the series has so much potential... an incredibly deep plot and background story for every character, very interesting and unique fighters with the only true "clone" pairs actually making sense (Kilik & Seong Mi-Na learned the same style of fighting... Nightmare IS Siegfried... Yun-Seong admired Hwoang and learned his style... etc) while still having more than enough uniqueness that they don't feel like "clones" outright.

tekken, soul cal, and virtua fighter are good games... but i just like the simple games with SHORT move lists. Although every direction combined with a buttion does a move... I'm the kind of person who'd want to learn all moves and not just stick with a handful and focus my fighting style from those moves. I like street fighter style and crossovers and smash bros because you can just pick it up and just go at it. Although people who are already used to the many many moves on one character and in certain stances/position in the ring shouldn't have a problem. I bet a lotta ppl will be happy with the Street Fighter II games on the next gen systems if they have online play.

Like said earlier.. my friends also said SC3 was broken and that they didn't really 'enjoy' the Create a Character option. I dunno why off the top of my head tho. They mostly 'studied' Sophitia in SC3 on ps2 because her moves were broken or something I forget, but I think they fixed it when they released SC3 for the arcade, because i know they were complaining about how they changed one of her moves.

I think the most simple of Tekken, SC, and Virtua Fighter is SC, then tekken, then Virtua Fighter. This is just based on tournament videos though... so i don't have much to back it up on. If Smash Bros, a Virtua Fighter, Tekken 6, and Soul Calibur all come out at the same time... I wonder who'd 'prevail?'

i know there are probably a lotta third strike players out there... XD

Bloody Roar = definition of scrubby button-mashing gameplay to the max

I prefer Soul Calibur, It has more replay value to me. I still have SCII for the Gamecube, in my opinion that was the best version because of Link.

Mine was Xbox with Spawn hehe.
