This was NOT a TBH event because Myrrh and I posted in FURY forums asking for help Xean. BUT we are more mature and dont post Private forum info. We have been camping this thing ALOT longer than you or soulwtfever his name is.

I can attest to that each night this week Jyak and others have lent their assitance and drummed up Fury support when needed to help Myrrh, I just wish I'd been awake for some of the wee hours pops to help.

I guarantee you couldn't have taken shikigami w/ those people.(btw your being nitpicky cuz Zyn missed one fucking person) With our 8+ we could have easily taken it. Figuring i was the only tank. Why was i not allowed to lot? When i assure you i have been there almost equal amount of time as Myrrh. Maybe because we ALL AGREED PRE POP that Myrrh would get this. I respect agreements, and verbal promises. Do you? I mean lets go fucking camp something, you aint allowed to lot, and i get to quartermaster it. ACTUALLY lets have your entire linkshell do a dynamis for MY BENEFIT, you can pay for the glass... I cant believe i offered to help you guys on dynamis. We all agreed while gathering, 20 minutes pre pop, 10 minutes pre pop, and pop time that this was myrrhs. Each time Soul said ok but i want next one. That was where i said ok you can Counterlot me. which is fair, even though ive been camping this shit for so long. LONGER THAN YOUR ENTIRE LINKSHELL. I honestly cant believe idiots like you are called "good leaders" you have no class by backing your wrong doing, and saying ninja lotting was ok.

This bites, I had a huge post and then with one slip of the finger I go back a page, only to lose everything I typed. /sigh

This is disappointing that things couldn't be dealt with when the people involved, were more than capable of speaking to each other without insults and through PM or /tell in game. Instead this has just gotten worse.

For those saying Myrrh was slandered, I didn't call Myrrh anything. Xean had an opinion about Myrrh being trustworthy, but that is not slander. I believe that at one point one member in the LS did direct an attack to Myrrh, and it was at that point that I told the LS to end the discussion. Those that have posted in this topic and were in LS can vouch for that.

Regarding Xean's opinion of Myrrh, he's entitled to that. Note however, that his opinion of Myrrh being trustworthy, has never affected how Myrrh was treated in LS. The two got along quite well up until this point, and as it was already mentioned myself and Xean went out to help Myrrh already, as we've done in the past.

The last time i'm going to say this: I did not know an agreement was made when I encouraged Soulstar to lot. Had I know this, I would of questioned him why he had given priority because I felt both should have equal lotting rights. If something had been decided, then its not my business to tell him to go against that agreement. When I spoke to Jyakotsu, I didn't know that fact at that point. I confirmed it with Zyn after Soulstar mentioned it to me, after he had won the lot. Guess I should take screenshots more often. =/

Had I been in Soulstar's place, I might have given priority lot to Myrrh. I've done it in the past, so him agreeing to that I can't really comment on aside that I feel both did put in time and effort and should of had equal lotting rights to begin with, no one with priority. Had I been encouraged by a LS leader to lot when I had already told someone they would get the drop, I would of mentioned that detail to the leader or asked Myrrh first if he would be ok with me going back on my decision. Seeing as I hate going back on something i've already said, I would of just been annoyed with myself for having made a quick decision without thinking, and thus let him lot. If I had the guts, I would of asked him if it was ok for me to go back on the decision, but I wouldn't of lotted without making that clear. That's not me.

Really, whether someone was given priority or not though... one would assume that both SMNs would be there for the next camping session so technically, its not important that Soulstar agreed to give up the lot. It looked like both were going to get their YYR within the week as long as we didn't get a lot of cc (TheFlock, you guys have way too many SMNs ; and seeing as both couldn't yet use the item, it wouldn't of mattered who got it first because you don't ditch friends right?

As to the event not being a "TBH" event... as that rant shows, most if not all of our members were under the impression Myrrh was through asking the other LS for help (hence my comment towards your LS Zyn) and so we were sure it was only us helping our 3 SMNs, one of which is away, as long as they kept us informed of the ToD. I didn't even know Myrrh was there when we first heard that the NM had been killed and the YYR dropped. Regardless, we were planning on getting the 2nd SMN their YYR. I'm currently signed up to be helping with the Saturday spawn (would be helping on Friday, but its like to spawn when i'm up in Sky) We do plan our events, and this is an even that was planned.

As I said, apologies were already given on my part. I feel strongly things would have been different had that information been known, regarding giving priority to Myrrh. Call me a liar if you guys want, the people that know me well enough including Myrrh know that I don't hide behind lies.

For those wanting to name call, well all the power to you. Usually those that name call the most are the people with the most insecurities, right? But to prove some of the opinions wrong about the kind of player that I am, here's a bit of insight:

I've been playing the game for 2 years with my bf Xean. He hates this game, but plays to help friends and to help me. I play, because I really like the friendships and I get a kick out of being able to my friends progress in the game without being frustrated for lack of help, and then quitting. I haven't joined endgame shells until recently, because I could never commit to one. Not because my schedule, I play daily and all day on weekends... but because I can't stand the thought of not being around when someone might need something. I have at least 5 events this weekend i'm helping out with, not one of them is one i'm going to benefit from other than the rewarding experience of helping my ls members. One of those events, is soloing all 6 avatars for Myrrh btw. Is someone who is giving up 3hrs of their time to solo avatars they already have, and will gain nothing but a measly 10k really someone that is playing favorites and intentionally trying to screw over a person? Myrrh, in all the time you've known me have I ever screwed you over? Have I ever attempted? Do you think i'd have reason to? I help others, because I want to. Thats why I play the game. Xean does the same.

I'm sure if me or Xean were such bad people, you'd have a few flames on us by now about the members we've screwed over. We've been around long enough, and its funny that the only people who have met up with us and had bad opinions were people kicked from our LS because they were leeches. And guess what, that can be verified on the flameboard if you search their name, cuz they've leeched off others too.

I spoke with Soulstar tonight and he feels ashamed, his words exactly about his decisions. He regrets them, and wishes he had done differently. We both spoke before he logged out, and seemed hopeful we could find a way to make things right and make sure Myrrh got his YYR. Whether or not people can forgive and give that opportunity, we'll have yet to see.

And because I did notice one comment, again don't trash TBH. Keep your opinions about the specific members if you want but there are quality members in that LS. That really applies to you Myrrh, its not fair to judge an entire LS because of a couple of people. There's more than just me, Xean and Soulstar that signed up on that Shiki thread wanting to help you. You know there are members that login and the first thing that comes out of their mouths is "Anyone need help with something?". Those people don't deserve this, as well as the "Shame on TBH members" comment.

I have to be up in 3hrs, so i'm going to end it here. In the end, I know myself better than any of you would and you can continue to dictate what kind of person I am, and what I do or don't condone. I'm going to continue playing the game like I always have, following my same rules of playing which to this day have always rewarded me with the friendships i've made.

I never called it "my event". However, it's not the other group's event either. And I just stated that 6 members were there tonight... People really choose to ignore posts. You keep thinking there's an arrogance here, so you're attempts at attacking something is going at nothing but air. The arrogance is coming from you that your shell would kill something easily. Wow, an endgame shell can kill Shiki. I'm not really surprised there. Considering endgame shells usually have lots more members than most socials, you're really making it out like we never helped when that isn't the case.

how many people helping doesn't decide who gets the drop? maybe i'm mistaken but myrrh went to that shell and did all the requesting for help for that particular event, they don't own the right to lot but its common coutesy to give the item to the person who put the work in for it. you seem misinformed on soulstars effort.

i'm curious how did the conversation with soulstar go? how was it you got informed into thinking it was your ls event that you could call the shots?

Why not ask Soul(tab) how often he camped ToD and how many nites he lost Sleep over trying to get this YYR for Myrrh. Try how many times i got MY LINKSHELL up to Romave to claim Shikigami weapon to assist MYRRH to get YYR. Try how many times i sat in Romave not seeing Sou(tab) there ONCE. Try how many times on my pld, i trained mobs zone line to zone line in boredom waiting to get ToD for this bullshit, because it was just me and Myrrh, and sometimes Enny.

We camped this shit for 3 weeks, 3 FUCKING WEEKS. We lost soooo much sleep trying to keep this ToD. From all the posts that Xean posted, it seems as though Soul(tab) got ToD one time. 3 days ago at 4AM. HoW THE FUCK IS THAT EVEN REMOTELY CLOSE TO EQUAL EFFORT BETWEEN WHAT ME AND MYRRH DID.

I am ashamed to know Real life friends that think you are respectable Server members. I am ashamed to have EVER offered my assistance to your shell. I am ashamed knowing that i just added you two to the server shit list. You may have appologized but you totally dodged the bullet. I cannot wait for the rest of the forum goers to see this thread. Because honestly we can see that Xean A. did not give a fuck about Myrrh's feeling, when he OKed ninja lotting, and B. Xean thinks that its ok to kick someone while he is down. Ask anyone. I'm one of the nicest people on the server. I've given up 4mil gil items to people, I've camped NMs for days on end when i friend couldn't keep up with a ToD, I've given Relic gear to assholes even though I was told to lot. I've done Missions for friends just so they can know the joy of getting it done.

If you think I can't be trusted because I swear and boast about gear you're a fucking idiot. It's not my fault all Ali does is bitch and moan everytime someone makes a comment about something.

And Zer, there will be no way in hell I'll ever go back to your LS. I saw the SS of what people think of me.

I really hope you do stay away from this flame, and others too because you are one of the first people to jump on others for their failings. Too bad you only want to gone on about how much else you have done for others rather than explain your behaviour here on this issue.

It doesn't matter whether other campers included members outside the LS. Let's not even compare the numbers anyways, you wouldn't want that. What matters is who was going after the YYR, and that was TWO people who were in the SAME linkshell.

Try reading a little more slowly, Xean… and start with the OP. Jyakotsu (from Fury, not TBH) also needed the YYR, but an agreement was reached, among the people who were there (including those who did need the robe and those who didn’t), that the robe would go to Myrrh. Not much more needs to be said, about this: there was no TBH jurisdiction, there; you were completely outside your authority to tell anyone to break a prior agreement and lot.

As you can see, from the OP SSes, I was there--and it was because I wanted to help out a fellow Fury member. I specifically logged in to FFXI on the last two SW pops, just to help Myrrh. I concur with Beka’s report: I remember seven Fury members being there for the pop before the ninja-lot one, and I don’t remember any non-Fury members being there, at all. At the Ninja-lot pop, there were enough non-TBH members to deal with SW, and not enough TBH members to accomplish much (if anything) by themselves; they were in the alliance to help Myrrh get the YYR, and if they felt like that situation was unfair, they should have disbanded and formed their own CC.

Xean, your posts are full of lies and contradictions. Here are a couple more examples:

Xean, I disagree with almost everything else you’ve posted, too, but many others have already posted valid rebuttals, so I need not repeat them all. Two stand-out replies, however, need to be QFT:

Xean, you really just need to admit that you are wrong. I can't sit here and watch as you slowly dig yourself and TBH as a whole its own grave. Your reasons for telling Soulstar to lot the robe are incredibly stupid. <SNIP>

Two wrongs don't make a right, even if what you say about Myrrh is true, that still does not justify screwing him out of the Yinyang Robe.

Look, if you really want to press on this hopeless tirade about how right you are, then go ahead. Just know that you have an entire linkshell's reputation to consider.

Apologize (and not right before a page and a half of your own inadequate defense- just a sincere apology will do). Work something out with the person you quite obviously screwed over. I think everyone on both sides agrees that Myrrh got screwed at this point? Even if he doesn't want you to help make it up to him, admitting your error and offering an apology might show the community that hey, you may have made some rookie mistakes, but you're good enough leaders to learn from them and move forward. Hell if you're genuine in your response maybe it'll keep some of your members in your shell after the dust settles.

Anything else is just going to give the entire community some more cheap shots at you while you're down.

My prediction is that your LS will still lose many good members, because they can’t stand to be around you, now that you’ve shown your true colors. For that, I kinda feel bad for you, actually.


Moving along…

Obviously the heart of the matter lay at the feet of the person who actually did the ninja-lotting, yes.

Soulstar, you’re even more culpable than Xean, in this matter, because you pulled the trigger.

Personally, I think you should call a GM on yourself and plead with them to give the YYR to Myrrh because you reneged on your prior agreement. Tell them the exact time of the incident and some key terms to search the logs for your agreement. You might even request a temp-ban to make those involved feel a little better about your having been punished. ScreenShot everything. (Failing this, I think Myrrh should make a GM call. Call me overly-optimistic, but they can reportedly deal with broken agreements, nowadays.)

GM involvement is your only hope at achieving real restitution, in this situation, but if they can’t help you, you need to don a Penitent’s Rope and start begging everyone to forgive you… beginning with Myrrh. When I spoke with Meshelle, about all this, she suggested that you should drop your scummily-gotten YYR and SS the logs. (Use a semi-transparent log background and take many SSes with the dropped YYR line scrolled differently.) It still won’t make things right, but it will make them a little righter.
