I personally don't think so. It's not like the drop rate is any better than it was before (if it is, silly me, but from what I've heard, that's not the case)...it's not like it's any easier to camp than it was before, so expectations shouldn't really become higher...

Heh, most ninjas and rangers were already considered gimp if they didn't have the pin and boots. Not by me, I couldn't care less. But I know it was expected by many, even if unsaid.

I lvled my thf gimped without the boots and pin. I have 1.5 more lvls to go, wonder if I should camp those 2 things for 1.5 more lvls...hmmm

Personally, I can see how Emp Hairpin can help a NIN quite a bit, bit I've seen several NIN that do more than fine without them. And while I don't pay a whole lot of attention, I've never seen too great of a difference between THF with/without LLs/Emp Hairpin. Not saying it's good-or-not to have, just, I've never made a deal about someone not having them, I just don't see them as some massive difference compared to other things..just my opinion though..

You notice a bit of difference in dmg when doing SATA Viper Bite at lower lvls. I noticed mine sometimes weren't that great...oh well Money for jobs I care about XD

It's said the drop is alot higher, empress hairpin is 80% i'm told peacock is 100% but i have yet to comfirm.

Err, being more specific on my last post - PCC and Emperor HP will probably drop badly in price if their rare/EX versions drop that often, in addition to them not really having any craft use.

Personally i'm not gonna call anyone anything just b/c they don't have specific gear .. leet is doing your job well. Personally i believe it to be doing your job well without being a prick to anyone who isn't a prick to you, but thats just me.
