Ha ha, didn't know that was you. I was at a party years ago where a guy did the same thing you did. It all went down like nothing, but 5 mins later, it came all back up!

Iono Raes, never tried it, I'd have better luck with a gallon of guinness
 
ew ew ew.. bad enough you chugged 5 pints.. but the narsty black shit to boot! lol.. couldn't pay me enough, if it were Strongbow or Magners.. perhaps, but either way I'd have been severely ill afterwards.

I've given it a very honest go on a couple occasions, I found the only time I could suffer it was when it was very cold. It makes my tongue feel furry!!!
 
At least I can respect that you've tried it more than once, to give it its fair chance. My poor bar in Nashville... they won't give me a single beer anymore, I walk ot the bar to order and they give me a full 6-pack to carry around >.<

not sure how the liquor laws differ, but that so could not happen here lol. I'm lucky if I don't get a hard time ordering a round that I plan to carry myself.

Yea, laws here don't allow people bringing in beer that is not bought from the place they are in. Its a big no no.
 
I don't bring the beer in, the bartender hands me a 6 pack
 
hahaha.. I remembering getting into a war of words with a newby bartender over ordering a round. 6 or 7 drinks, some were shots, only the shots were the same.. and she wanted to school me on the liquor laws having bartended for years myself by that point.. she was maybe 18 or 19, so -just- legal..

I literally had to walk 10 feet to our table, but instead of having 3 or 4 people come with me so we were legally carrying 2 drinks a person I was buying.. anyway.

No there's a good reason the law is in place lol.. had a liquor inspector saw that video and recognize the venue here it would be shut down in a weeks time lol
 
Oh yea, the place I was at, that is very Illegal, the manager got pissed, he was almost fired, and so was the other bartender on duty.... but they survived the ordeal. My girlfriend was surprised about it, it wasn't the usual bar we go to, it was one while we were on vacation up in the mountains. It wasn't really a bar actually, and yes at a "restaurant" we are only allowed to have 2 drinks/person. but at our "bars" such as the one I go to we are allowed to buy more. My Girlfriend has been a bartender for a few years, so she knew exactly how illegal what the bartender did was.
 
I suppose it just depends on the size of the place ie popularity. We all know there's no integrity in the bar industry ha!

When I was slinging after my bugger was born, well that place was a joke. The owner was so incredibly stingy, she would have me make drinks with an oz max, even when the recipe called for 2 or more. Try making a black russian with a max 1 oz of alcohol and charge nearly $7, in a dive to boot! She tried to justify her mix ratios on her cost .. she was making nearly $4 per an oz, and liked to think herself a marvelous bartender..
 
I would throw my drink on the floor and walk out... thats an insult. . . .
 
You're telling me. My gut was often flipping while I worked there. Man... and she was a crazy ginger too lol. But I have a few crazy ginger friends, so I knew how to handle her. Either way.. it was hard swallowing those pills let me tell you! I would actually sell people on other drinks that were more cost effective because it was a fucking joke to try to 'rationalize' the costs of our drinks ><
