That being "said", let me elaborate. As we all know, (because you never let us forget,) English isn't your first language. I'll even put it in simple words for you to understand:

I won't slam someone behind their back. If I have something to say about someone, I have no qualms (if you do not know what qualms means, by all means look it up in the dictionary), about stating my opinion about a person, subject, yada yada. I don't need to get people to back me up. Furthermore, if I've proven wrong about someone or something, I have no qualms (hope you've looked this up by now Yoshindor), of apoligizing and eatin' a little dirt. It takes a bigger person to admit their wrong than to fight a losing battle. Something else need to learn. Humility, is not necessary a bad thing. If you're wrong and can admit it, it makes you a better person. That is a general statement and not directed at anyone in particular, but if the shoe fits Yoshindor, please by all means wear it.

lol I sent Chpal a PM last night telling him he should use Mushroom Stew instead of the Glace. Not that the glace isnt good, just the stew gives more bang for your buck. Be stew runs you 20k a pop, whereas the glace hardly is over 4k.

Its a great WHM food, and i'd assume RDM too for the +MND. But any casting job can use the MP Regeneration While Healing +4 and Enmity -4.

The prices of items have been going up since about, oh, the day the game began in Japan. Its a buyers market. If people have the gil, theyre going to pay whatever the cost is for the item they want. Complaining about it wont help do a thing except make you sound like a whiner. Did I piss and moan about getting the gil for R2 when it was so goddamn pricey? Well. Yes. But I -did- get the gil for it.

Spiderwebs are 60k a stack now? Use that 60k as motivation to raise the money. Keep it as a goal in mind. Dont let it get you down or else youre doomed to failure.

If nothing else, you can always go farm the items yourself, as others have suggested. It isnt that hard. I doubt every plausible spiderweb-dropping-mob in the entire game is harbored by so-called gilsellers and dubious players...

I find it funny, that you all attack Vandora for simply wanting to combat auction house inflation, and then call her a gil buyer for it too! I geuss everyone who can not buy the items they need for skill up or armor or anything else because of inflation obviously must take part in RMT :O

How do you combat inflation?

Do you do it by telling everyone to be stupid and sell things for less than its worth?
Of course not, you'd be stupid to do such a thing because no one would listen, not even you.

You do it by telling everyone to be smart and NOT overpay for things that they need, namely by having a little patience.

As buyers in general get smarter prices gradually go down. It won't go down if you have a bunch of knuckleheads paying for overpriced things when they are overpriced, instead of waiting, then going on complaining about it. The more knuckleheads or impatient people you have in the market the higher prices will be.

If something is overpriced, buying the item at said price will only make things worse for you, not better.

I've cleared a 5m profit so far making rainbow threads/cloth, every 5k webs go up in price it's like 1m more off my already completed threads/cloth.

You should be making money on this synth vandoura, and price increases are supposed to actually help you in the long run (long run being before you try making synths that need rainbow >.> ). If you can't afford the investment it takes to get past this profitable stage, then you really should toy around with a calcuator and the next stages of leveling.

I would also venture to say that Vandoura was the first one in this thread to insult someone personally. That is, taking out all relevant facts and subjects and turning it into a "your momma" thread. Vandoura crossed the line, and it's sad. And now his/her friends are coming to defend her.

Well, Vandoura doesn't know shit about economics, which makes her endless rants extremely annoying because they're all dead wrong and showing the ignorance of a small child. It seems like she's one of those chess players who think they're a master but never think beyond their first move. That's how I characterize her understanding.

I will say however a precidence for insulting people personally has long come and pass on this board so it's a little hypocritical to pin the standard on Vandoura alone. Kat just a week ago criticized Yoshindor as a bad father. Hell I'm on Kat's side in both instances just prefer to keep the arguments fair.
