Spiderman 3, second impressions?

Anyone buy it, and immediately get swept away in negativity towards it because it fell so short of great expectations and stop playing it? I did. Then a week ago I went back to it and started playing again... trying to decide if I could get any fun out of it. With an open mind, the game's actually a lot of fun. Just cruising around doing random shit gets boring fast, but the missions are actually fun if you get into them.. and they give you more abilities that make controlling spidey more interesting.

If you've shelved it in disgust since May, dust it off and give it a second opinion.

PS: I really feel like visually it'd have looked more like we were expecting and a few of the glitches would have been hammered out if they didn't need to release this game with the movie. Of course a month after the movie it'd have sold a lot less with a better product.

i personally LOVED the game. i played it religiously the week before it came out till i completed it, i then went on an achievement cruise and it was still fun. though having some of the achievements for random crap happening sucked cause i cant find most of what the hell they say i need to find.
Personally the game lived up to the expectations for me, minus the few camera glitches.
but its better than 2 and 2 was awesome.

Spiderman 3 was pretty amusing not the best game, but fun. It had some down points.. some annoyances (and one glitch I found where I swung right through a wall and got stuck inside a building XD)
