i've seen one retard who paid triple on almost every piece of galka rse mp gear, then overpays on other items i was looking at. that is how gil sellers jack up prices.

there are people on this server who live off of gil buyers, buying semi rare items and jacking the price, only to see that item lower itself to normal again. or worse, having a few gil buyers buy that item at the way over inflated price and setting that as the new price.

majority of the time it is rareity that set it at that price and greed. take the pcc for example it horible drop and heavly camped. Now that it a bcnm and can be acess at any time has the item drop in price? a little yes but it still pretty high dew to rareity. Now greed is what driving up the prices people jack up prices when there none in stock but does that price ever come back down? not till there is like 30-50 in stock then the price start to drop slowly.

There's this one dude I've probably made 800k off of, cus he pays any amount of money for any item, and gets rid of rare items for damn near 200k less than AH. It's easy money profitting off these gilsellers, I tell ya.

Gilsellers do effect price gouging. Do you honestly think prices on items would have stayed steady if there was an easy source to get massive amounts of gil from? The fact is that both Gilsellers and buyers are responsible for the inflation. You can't really blame real players when they know so much gil is inside the server, and when they know there is no effective way of getting rid of this gil off the server.

I don't usually respond on flameboards, but... Peterli joined the LS when he was a low lvl. Since he has become more comfortable speaking English, he has participated in more LS activities. I don't know whether or not he sells gil, but he seems to be polite and a nice person.

Peterli helped our LS with Optical Hat fights. In a 4 run session the LS got 32 O-Hats for members and friends of members. Peterli tanked about 25 of those fights, the only request he made of us was that his friend (who already had a cluster) be added to the list of fights for the hat.

As far as someone selling their character, we have not been able to figure out who that is, and the situation will be dealt with if it becomes a problem.

o btw notice that items that are highly camped by everyone slowly rise in price because the amount of time the ls has to put in to camp that item just to get a chance to claim and even if they do claim the chance of getting item is what 1/10. The other item that are high in price is the item that are rarely camped. Just look at the price of rs2 boots. I check ah every now and then and I have never seen a pair of river gaiter in stock look that the diffence in the price history it outragous

Well the PT was disbanding and I was wandering around and I saw a group of people standing still. Like a little kid, i run over to see the commotion and a NIN was soloing Amemet. The others were waiting for him to die. Ive never seen this character or heard of him being a gilseller...remember this was 6 weeks back so I dont even remember his name. Anyways, I threw cures and buffs all over him...and he said thank you. After he killed it...all the people /slapped him and went away and then he wants to trade to me. Im like WTF? ok....a reward maybe? a nice guy.... and then he trades me an Amemet Skin... WOW this guy was really nice and I wish I knew his name so I could commemorate him. As for Peterli and the FlySquad...I saw those picks of serket and that MPK and Im shocked O.O!!!!! Im glad to see some cold hard Proof...

Actually i blame the crafters mostly. Most crafters try to monopolise whichever money item they are currently making by being the main producer and also by having their friends all "buy" their item for 2-3x the current AH price. The result being they make alot more cash off the item. and when you consider that most people have at least 1 craft to 60 and many people have more than one craft to 100 that means there is alot of price jacking. Then people have to sell HNM drops for more and farmed goods for more.

I am not just blaming crafters...visa versa they need to sell their stuff for more to keep up with the farming materials and HNM gear prices that are rising.

Basically it is a vicious cycle. oh and also people lower other materials that they need...this will further unbalance things.

Basically the prices are a mess and while some idiots will pay 2-3x what the current AH value is that probably will not make a big difference in the long run with people jacking and lowering prices daily.

Thats just my view of things.
