Spring Semester '08 - I'm just dandy... you?

So here I am sitting at my computer a few days after spring break wondering. Is anyone else to the point this semester of just saying "fuck it" to schoolwork? Ugh... this semester is dragging on and on.

Just like any other semester, I will suck it up, get over it, and move on but damn. This semester just fucking blows. I don't think I have ever had this much busy work ever. I'm hoping this large coding project I have to complete will make it seem a little less 'useless' but so far, everything I have taken this semester reeks of the whole notion "do it for the diploma."

I've been this way since my grandfather died for some reason. I enjoy most of my classes, bio can go fuck off, and attend as much as I can.

it always confuses me when English people say semester, even though I know what the word means. In Swedish, semester means "vacation", so I always stare at the word for 10 sec before I realize that's not what you mean ~.~

I had a 3.2 gpa in high school but it's dropping over here at APSU, I just don't really care anymore but like Odon said

Shit has to be done.

I've considered joining the air force then go back to school(wanted to do army but the war lol). I find myself procrastinating more and more, I guess college is the real world lol, I never liked high school.

Yeah man, glad I don't feel too guilty about doing bad in college although I don't...

I just fall asleep in my Intro to C++ or do other homework, I never understand my teacher if you ever take C++ watch out for Dr. Yu; he knows his shit but he puts you to sleep with talking funny.

Hey hey man, my sister graduated from Austin Peay =P. You have a pretty cool campus and town... I kinda wish ETSU was a little more like it. They teach Java now here, I was one of the last few classes to learn C++ ... its kinda sad imo, cause C++ > Java for learning imo.

Oh i love the college, it's that I'm just don't care for school anymore.

I'm thinking of changing my major to spanish because this C++ stuff is whizzing over my head(I never was a structured person). I could minor in it but I have a feeling it's only going to get more complicated.

fuckin week after finish the hell that was my W.A.N technology class i have to go back to a class that is its fucking carbon copy ><; fucking telecommunications

I quit school and started working >.> Well, I did graduate, but I had only attended like 40% of the classes the last year.

Although I do take classes on the side. Personally, I find working to be much more fun and relaxing then going to school. Sure, there's some things I miss about school. Not having to do all those lame homeworks though is a god send. I don't really mind taking classes on the side, as I ca npretty much chose whatever subject I want to study. Business economics? Sure, if you want to. Latin? Of course, come these and these times. How to live a more healthy life with healthy food, healthy relationships and how to take care of yourself, how to plan your life better, how to relax more and be less stressed, and just outright live a more healthy life? you betcha, and yo u'll even get paid taking it, on top of getting graduation points, and some pretty useful hints and tips on how to live a better more happy life.

I was actually thinking of taking a bartending course in Spain, although that one I'd have to pay myself. That is, unless I can get my hands on a stipendium, which could be possible.

I'm also getting more and more burned out on school. I'm just tired of it. Work, then evening class, sometimes homework, then repeat. Summer breaks just aren't enough. I still feel burned out when I go back. I can't wait for it to end soon. Getting somewhat close now finally. Just gotta hang on. But I feel myself caring less and less. Procastinating homework for me is getting worse as well. Wasn't so bad when I first started school but now its getting pretty bad. I still manage to get it done but man I can't stand doing it.
