Spyware removal help

K so i was downloading some WoW addons and my computer has now become over run with spyware. It's pissing me off. I've tried Spybot, AVG, and Diskkeeper. Nothing seems to fully get rid of this crap. Anyone got anything better?

My computer is so slow now i can't even dl the ffxi update on this computer >.>.

Is it the one with the icon that keeps poping messeges in the bottom of the screen and also makes shit loads of pop up windows ? The icon looks like a question mark or an/and esclimation mark. Is that the one ?

2. follow the instructions on that page.

No need to install the software, just put it on you're desktop. Boot you're PC in safe mode and run it. again follow the instructions.

Please let me know how it turns out. Most of the time when i offer tech support, i'm left wondering if that person completed the task.

dude, if you had read what the antivirus/anti-spyware software had told you it would provide you with a similar link to the sites own smitfraud removal guide. also, this is a cut and paste clear case of not using majorgeeks. www.majorgeeks.com this site has useful forum members, tons of powerful and knowledgeably written guides.

Caught this too. Cleaned it. Removed it. Loved life for a day or two until i wound up with a socket error and had to go fucking around with registries and crap.

Whatever you do if you catch this shit do it quickly and as thoroughly as possible. I'd recommend exporting, deleting, and reinstalling the winsock registries as well.
