WTF I mean come on. I've been away from the game for about 3-4 months. I knew that all my information would be deleted I was cool with that. So I decided to try and get back on recently and it says my POL password and ID are incorrect. So I say okay let me check again. I make sure everything's right and I get the same message. So I try to buy a new POL id. I enter my registration code and it tells me (not in these words) You're fuckin wrong, fuck off! So I try and try and I hypothesized that it was only the POL server maybe it's having some "holiday" problems. So I try the next day and I get the same thing. So I call and the bitches tell me I have to buy ANOTHER copy of this shit!!! I'm not spending another $100 on this fuckin game. I'm on PS2 I'm not a PC gamer! This is the worst policy I have EVER seen!!! There has to be SOMETHING illegal about that. In other words they are saying "You can't ever quit or you have to buy the game again! NAH!!!" Fuck you Square!!! I've been loyal since before the merger!!! SINCE NINTENDO!!!! I can't believe they would make it so that you have to KEEP playing the game after you buy it OR quit forever. I hope one of you bastards are reading this cuz you need to change your GODDAMN POLICIES!!! Who came up with this shit those game geek Japs across the water?! Anyways to sum things up. 1) If you plan on quitting this game and then looking back and thinking about old times as you stare at the little white box remember you'll have to purchase it AGAIN if you wanna play ON TOP OF that goddamn monthly fee (after 3 months)!!! 2)When you BUY this game or if you HAVE this game make sure you're gonna play it until Square goes extinct. 3) Square your policy is really fucked up. There are a lot of us (gamers) out there who bought the PS2 $100 version who THOUGHT they paid for a lifetime worth. When you buy a game you can play it forever (or until it cracks, scratches too much, or something like that). How can you make it so that SOMEONE has to purchase this fuckin game again?! You think we ballin in America?! You got the game fucked up BITCHES!!! I really wanted to come back...goddamn it all!

Sounds like you deleted your Playonline Account and not you’re Content IDs.

If you delete your Playonline account you are also deleting your registration code, thus to get a new Playonline ID you have to buy a new registration code. Your playonline account is free, if you want to quit the game for awhile, you simple have to delete your content IDs and leave your Playonline ID in tack.
 
I can not confirm this, but I have been read before where people have said they bough the PC Version of the game, installed it on a PC and activated and created a Playonline ID. They then used that Playonline ID on there PS2.
 
I didn't delete my POL account I just quit for longer than the period. It even says in the manual I have to buy the game again and create a new POL ID. If you know someone who has quit and POL ID is still active tell them to hit me up. I can take over their account.
 
Just a heads up, all you need is new codes, which you can get by picking up the $30 PC copy. Since no additonal hardware is needed. It sucks that you have to do that, but they say 3 months is the cut off, you just waited too long.
