So with your examples there I am slightly confused.
So I can have one macro activate another one?
So if I have a macro called Set1 and another called Set2, I could essentially have it like this :
Set1
/equip something
/equip something
/equip something
/equip something
/macro Set2
and at the end of the Set1 it will run Set2?
You can have 1 macro in set 1 move to another set #. In your example, it'll jump down to macro set2. but if you put the macro in the same position, you can hit that number again, and it'll activate that macro.
For example:
I'm in macro set 1:
Ctrl+1 = Convert Macro
/equip main "Blue Cotehardie+1" <me>
/equip neck "Beak necklace +1" <me>
/equip back "Intensifying Cape" <me>
etc. etc.
/macro set 2
Now I'm in macro set 2:
Ctrl+1 = remaining convert macro
/equip blah
/equip blah
/ja "Convert" <me>
/ja "Divine seal" <me>
/wait 1
ma "Cure IV" <me>
/macro set 3
Now I'm in macro set 3:
Ctrl + 1 = changing necessary gear and going back to set 1:
/equip
/equip
/equip
/macro set 1
If you triple tap ctrl + 1, it'll run all of that, and put you back at macro set 1.
Pchan got me thinking of a great idea.
We have 10 macro sets per book, so my idea is this:
Facts: I have 6 gear swaps. Each macro set # has 20 total Macro slots (ctrl+0~9, alt+0~9).
Macro set 2 will be my main macro pallet with 6 slots devoted to gear swaps.
Macro set 1 will be my secondary
Macro set 3 will be my third
If I need to use secondary spells that I don't use as often as my main, I'll ctrl+up, ctrl+down and hit spells.
All 3 macro sets will have the gear swap initiation macros (same macros) that let me double or triple tap through sets 5, 6, 7 where 7 takes me back up to set 2 (main base macros).
This means, I'll have (20-6 = 14) x 3 => 42 macros I can use, AND
from any base macro set (2, 1, 3), I can access my gears swaps and it'll bring me back to set 2 for sure where I'm at the spells I use the most on RDM.
thoughts?
