PSP Star Ocean 1 & 2 Thread.

We just need some release dates for Star Ocean: The Last Hope now! I'm hoping for a simultaneous Japanese, North American and European release.
 
Tomorrow Star Ocean: First Departure ships! Some stores will get tomorrow but most should get Wednesday the 22nd.

Can't wait!
 
It should ship in the next couple days for the UK.

I gotta finish Crisis Core quickly now.
 
Damn, this ones gonna have to wait, already buying Fable 2 and cant afford another game for a couple of weeks ; ;
 
Decided to call Gamestop earlier to my surprise they had it in, playing it a day earlier than I thought I would be able to :biggrin:
Pretty fun, though I am not very far, gets me more stoked for SO2 in January though.

Anyone else pick this up? I am still not very far, been a busy week, but it is pretty awesome. Trying to decide which 4 optional characters out of 9 I want, since like in any SO if you pick *this* character you can't get *that* character, possibly another if the missed recruited character is needed for another character.

Character recruitment is more complicated in this than it was in SO2 or SO3, that's for sure.

Definitely will be replaying multiple times to try each of the character combinations and to get the various endings.

I just started playing mine. I was caught up in Bioshock all week.
 
PSP phat 5.00 M33-3 lock and loaded lol. I'll give it a shot when I'll have 2 seconds alongside I'm-way-too-geek-to-wait-play-this-game The Sky Crawlers on my friend's modded wii :3
 
I find it sad... They put the arena so early in the game... and I have exploited it to the bitter end D;

Roddick is 47 while others are 25 lol >_>
I did move on a lil bit tho and then went back to that abbandoned mine in mt metorx and power leveling the stupid winged idiot who just heals ... gets hit and dies D;
 
I was out of town last weekend and took along my VERY neglected PSP. I've got 12 PSP games and I had only put any hours really into Crush. But I've been interested in Star Ocean 4 for 360, but demanded of myself to play through 1-3 first(which is kind of a death sentence for SO4 since my backlog is so immense). So I popped in SO1 and had at it. It's actually a really great game, I may purposely stand myself over the summer with my PSP and nothing to do so I can keep at it. After that the PS1 version of Star Ocean 2 has a chance at getting played.
