Got one of the cracks that lets me into the game, but with no opponents. All I can do is build units and play around, but nothing to kill. Still, they've kept to the same core gameplay from Starcraft 1, which is a definite plus.

I'm not sure if anyone posted this yet, but gamestop is doing a preorder SC2 and get into the closed beta deal right now. It's supposedly not going to last long and I don't think many people even knew about it as of today. They were surprised I was even aware of it when I went to my local store today, but I managed to get a code.

5 bucks down for preorder and I'm downloading the client as I type this.
 
Ya I went to reserve my game and just found out ;3 I gave the code to a friend since I'm already in :)
 
Double posting again >.> Patch 9 is a go!!! downloading now. Can't wait to play with the map editor :)
 
So I've never played SC1 and I haven't played many strategy games at all but this game is pure win. I wasn't even going to buy it and now that I'm in beta I can't wait for its release!

I'm such a noob compared to the vets though which just pisses me off and makes me want to get better.
 
Hehe, I think I'm pretty decent in SC2 :) I think I should create a SC2 name list so people can play each other. I'll edit the first post.

Just use your SC2 ID, don't care about real one :P
