Okay. Whats up with Steam? Why is it getting so big all of a sudden?

Psychonauts, Call of Duty, Call of Duty: United Offensive, Call of Duty 2, and Gun added this week. I can understand ancient games. But Call of Duty 2 and Gun are sort of recent.

Dunno. Guess people are digging the online publishing deal and releasing their stuff through it.

Meh id say just stick with CS 1.6 or CS:S (but mainly CS 1.6)

What no DoD?

Really though this is old news. Valve has been after this for about 2, maybe 3 years now. Can't remember when exactly I read about this, I know it was sometime after me an my buddies beat HL-2 though. Steam isn't the only one doing it either, EA downloader is starting to get pretty big also. It's cool because with this form of transaction, no CD needs to be pressed, no manual needs to be printed, no box, no wraping, no hassle. Plus games are starting to be released on downloaders before they are actually released in the stores, and now they can charge less because of all the added uneeded junk being cut out of the sale. I would say look for more companies to start doing this also.
