...I am sick and tired of farming cash for xp party items because lying fucknuts leeched my help. If I want to help you I'll respond to yuor shout in Jeuno.
 
Here's an idea, get them to give you PT Lead, when the objective is done(BCNM/Keys) demand them to pay you or boot them from PT

Yeah, long time in coming this rant was. I tell ya nothing tops seeing someone get Utsu: Ni, Erase, Phallanx and a Nemesis Ring off Worm's Turn and then forgetting to send you some cash for the gil you spent helping them.

For the record though in advance this is only directed towards people who sent me tells asking for my help. Not to those I've responded to shouting in Jeuno. I choose to go to those and blow cash.

If someone's paying you for help, here's a few suggestions:

1. Insist that they pay first. If you're hunting for a rare item (coffer key, tests, etc), say that if the item drops you'll keep the pay, but if it doesn't then you'll give it back (unless you're asking for the money regardless of whether the item drops). That way you can't get ripped off.

2. Ask them to give you party leader. If the item drops and they don't pay you for it, boot them from the party. You'll get the item instead. Unfortunately, this method winds up in a lose-lose situation for both of you, as you don't get anything except an item that's useless to you, and they don't get anything period. Still, it's better to let them be an asshole and get payback, than to let them be an asshole and get away with it.

If you're doing a BCNM and splitting the loot, and you don't trust everyone, then insist that you get all drops, and if something's rare then you decide who it goes to if you already have one. Unfortunately, you probably won't get everyone to agree to that...

Their was no loot splitting because I didn't have a BCNM orb in the forementioned. I was just helping for one-five runs each time with the promise that I'd get payed for the ammo/food/shihie I used.

Unlike some of the jackasses that have been flamed here I actually sit there and help the whole time not expecting items and not stealing the money drops.

Or should I say, I do it for free, because no one ever pays me for my expenses. :evil:
 
I can't even get them to offer payment to get their X. But IF I had this problem of strangers offering strangers payment for a service, I would require either payment first or collateral to enforce the agreement. They may say the customer is always right, but that's only after payment is confirmed.

Ill say it to any total stranger that acts as openly moronic as you do and for you to attempt to call out anyone for throwing out random quips is the very definition of the pot painting the kettle black.
