Still playing FFXI?

Personally, I like WoW. Don't care what anyone says or does but I think you can manage two games. Especially since WoW is very friendly when you only have like 2 hours to play while FFXI doesn't. This video does help show how much fun we have though. =D
 
Looks like a fun lag fest with a billion people on the screen. I couldn't even tell the difference between enemy and allies, everything looks the same as one collective blob. Oh and that song was probably amoung the very worst I've had to sit through in my life.

this movie sucked definitely didnt make me want to play WoW. it looked like just utter chaos. and wtf is up with the dancing looks like blizzard didnt think they could compete with FFXI so they threw in some softcore porn.
 
The dances are funny but I hate the graphics style >.<

If they let me transfer over all my gil to WoW then I would consider it. But only because almost all my friends from school play it, and PvP is awesome.
 
Why does everyone bash WoW? Its a fun game... Seems like the majority of most FFXI players have this crazy hatred towards the game. Can anyone explain?

And yes, I'm a traitor... If only SE made changes earlier /sigh.
 
I'm not bashing WoW...it's a very smooth and good looking game, but too easy for my tastes.

WoW is ultra fun, FFXI is a job. You bash on it because you know it's better. I understand how you feel though, you put so much time and effort into your FFXI guys, but once you take that first leap by trying it out you'll never turn back. It is cartoonish but the graphics are amazing, that video does not do the graphics justice. All this video was for was to show you how fun it is, and thats just a glimpse.

Screw the grouping system in FFXI.
Screw waiting hours for groups.
Screw the gil sellers.
Screw all the Japanese snobs that are in FFXI. "JP ONLY"

Going to WoW is like a weight off your shoulder, playing a MMO and having fun is nice. FFXI is a Japanese game, it has a Japanese feel to it, mechanical, tedious and a bit of a bore really. Even though I'm not American WoW is an American style game, flash and pizazz, fun, exciting, colorful and more. Thats how I see it anyway.

P.S. That song is awesome.
 
looks not bad but i'm easily influenced by others... my friend beta tested it and beat the game before official release, he hated it but beat it on principle, like me and ff2... beta's are usually told of as the prime days of such games but even then in WoW kill thiefs lurked around every corner, with no claim system it's defeater takes exp... =/
 
that is the 1st time I have seen WoW in motion, and while I think the character models look dumb, I was still imperssed. Now that amout of Choas, is that the nor of the game or something that happens every now and then??

I enjoy FFXI. Like everyone here. Yeah, it's frustrating sometimes, but if it wasn't, what would be the challange? Everything I've heard about WoW makes it sound too easy and boring. (Plus the character models look like monkey butt.)
 
Id like to know what the whole name restriction thing with WOW is about. Granted it cuts back on simply retarded names but alot of names are cut out that ppl might wanna use.

Well WoW is based on the backbone of Warcraft...so yeah PVP wars are obviously chaotic as hell... this vid really makes me wanna get back into the game...if only for the pvp raids... the rest was pretty dull.
