You know, just go buy all the autmn stones you want from RMT. Just don't act like you're some hot shit when you kill kirin in x seconds. You suck by all standards if you can't/don't want to (I won't go in to which it is) claim ulli and succumb to the RMT.

Walk with your heads drooped, and respond with shame and remorse when people ask you how you got that byakko haidate. Celebrate quietly in a conclave within your LS when you break your record kirin kill time. You're not getting any respect from anyone sans the lootwhores who think you're cool.

BTW, I must say that the OP is the epitome of trash vigilantism. Please don't flame people and/or LSs just from hearsay. Who the fuck are you to be trashing other people's reputations when you don't even know the facts?

Why shouldn't they act like hot shit? They're not bragging that they killed Ulli. They'd bragging that they killed Kirin in under a minute. Guess what, 99% of the FFXI player base will never be able to say they killed Kirin in under a minute. Yet a good majority of the player base can say they've killed Ulli. Killing Kirin in under a minute > claiming Ulli.

I made a mistake and I owned up to it, doesn't mean the rest of my info isn't valid.

Sadly, I couldn't call out most of the LS that buy from RMT. They don't speak English and don't read this board.

Point 2. People don't like to take the time to actually get something they want, so they buy gil or items because they're either lazy, or they just wanna be hxc and take the easy way out.

Point 3. It's not worth slitting your wrists over.

Seriously people, we're all adults aren't we? What's the use of complaining about people buying shit and RMT's and such. Sure, we all know they are the biggest sack of shits in this world, but what's the point? All you're gunna do is flame someone for doing something that they think will make them better and end up making an ass out of yourself...simple as that.

I don't know how anyone else feels about this, but I think we just need to deal with what can't be fixed, and get over it.

It does ruin the game, but still..what's all the flaming going to do? They're not going to stop because we don't like that they aren't good enough to play like it's supposed to be played. So why not just blow them off, or figure out an evil plan to get rid of them while SE sits around stating "they don't have proof" that most of them are RMT.

No one ruined it, only SE did. If gil sellers weren't at ulli... it would still take 10 hours to camp and you'd have to compete with tons of other linkshells, including the ones who would be buying them otherwise. (I guess you can argue less bots, but I'm not too sure about that)

Back when I did heavy sky, camping ulli was usually done in a small exp party while the rest of the shell camped other stuff (no competition), and it'd still took hellishly long, and was still a bottleneck in sky.

SE should just make ulli pop at least once every 2 hours or something.

If you get off on something stupid as kill speed, that's your choice. The fact is, killing Ulli is part of killing Byakko is part of killing Kirin. You admit that you're not up to putting forth the effort of camping Ulli. This being said, you don't deserve Byakko, nor do you deserve Kirin.


Furthermore, anyone using Ulli's pop timer as a defense needs to wipe their mouths because they're spewing some grade-A projectile BULLSH-!T. Before RMT virtually monopolized Ulli I saw plenty of LSes camping up there. RMT show up, lots of people still CC'ed them; It's only once they started their blatent mass-hacking that nearly everyone gave up, incoincidentally when Ulli became nearly impossible to claim.

So, basically, this "Ulli isn't worth our time" speech is more or less a proud way to say "We can't claim Ulli for sh-!t and we've given up" and brag about it, right?
