if you paid attention(as was posted more than two times), you'd know that ALL members of the LS can buy them and are reimbursed. so a majority of the time, its not the same person buying them. hell, i bought some items last week out of a bazaar. but fuck if i could tell you what the name was. i come in contact with hundreds of people a week, between XP, telewhoring, alliance fights, HNM camps, i mean, like im really going to remember specific names. lol we keep good records, like dates, amount of money, and person who BOUGHT it, but why would we keep track of who we got it from? ohhh right, we didnt think in advance of the "omg what if someone hates us for buying some from random mules!! zomg we better write down the names" lol.. ok

So, the LS-wide excuse is "I see so many people in the game that I can't remember the name of the ONE batallia character I bought ONE autumnstone from"? Not one of you can remember one name? I would have some comments about the memory capacity of these people, but I'll leave that for now.

If you're not even being conscious about the names of who your supplier is, then yes, that is an implicit confession that your source includes RMT, because probably 90% (yes, I pull this number out of my ass--but the point being, the overwhelming majority) of the sellers are NOT JP (and guess what that leaves us with?)

There. I said it for you. Now stop talking about how it's not wrong or doesn't affect the economy--no one cares about what your position is on that. That's all that the people here wanted to know.

You guys are one the most skilled LSs on our server. It doesn't fit you guys to play the "deer in the headlights" role.

You guys aren't naive about what's going on at Ulli, which is why you chose to buy the stones in the first place.

You guys have had steady sources of Ulli stones in the past, and it would make sense that you would keep contact with some players who consistantly sell stones.

You can pawn the blame on the random folks in your shell who buy stones, but all that is doing is making those members look dumb, and I doubt you guys let dumb players into your LS.

People have said it's ok to buy from GS if you have a huge bankroll which I, of course disagree with. And that may be Kaizens stance on this behind closed doors, but coming on here playing the naive role as a group who takes down the biggest fights in this game with ease is silly, and a slap in the face of the readers here, as dumb as they are.

Good lord, this is still going on? anyway...

Deer in the headlights... hmm, no... not quite. The fact is we know that at least 5~6 of the 8-10 stones we purchased were from legit players. the other 3~5... maybe not, but none of the mules we purchased from were obvious bazaars for RMT (ie. they didn't have Cassie's earring/Strider Boots/any other obvious RMT items in them, nor did they have the engrish comments RMT bazaars so often have).

I realize that most of you feel no legit LS in their right mind would sell an ulli stone, but we know this is not the case based on the majority of our autumn stone transactions. Yes, chances are one or more of the stones came from RMT, we aren't so dumb not to realize that is a risk... but the majority have not been... and we try to take measures to decrease the likelihood that lvl 1 bazaar purchases where we do not get to talk with the seller are RMT as well (or at least I do when I'm on). As for names... These stones have not all been purchased recently. its been a rather spread out habbit. Maybe someone could name off the last 1-2, but beyond that I doubt anyone remembers b/c frankly we didn't anticipate we would be asked to justify our actions to QCDN, and its been too long to remember most of the names casually.

I know this point has been beat over and over again, but when the LS discussed stone purchasing as an option we discussed the situation in sky and decided it was worth the risk. We are not ok with buying from RMT, many of us do not like that it is a risk... That said, we feel we can reasonably minimize that risk... and so we are willing to take it from time to time. This is not something we are proud of... but frankly we wouldn't be proud to kill ulli either. Sky is simply too old hat for us for it to be a source of pride, challenge, or anything else. Even the speed kill kirins are simply a way to insure we spend no more time up there than we must to fill in a few gear gaps for new jobs/new members.

Also, another point that I have not seen posted is that we do not buy all of our stones (we actually DO camp ulli, zomg). Do you see us in sky all that often, if at all? No... not really. For one, it's true that we don't go there all that often, maybe once a week on average... but also, when we camp, we deliberately start during a time that not many NA are up there (b/c of how late it is... or because it is midday and ppl are at work) and when not many JP are on (b/c most of them are still at work... or they are sleeping), in order to avoid wasting our time going up when half of what we want to do is being done by other people.

Lastly, to all those who have lost respect for the LS... or feel that this fact invalidates all that we do: while i'm sorry to hear this is how you feel, because we do take pride in the fact that we are (were?) held in high esteem... we don't actually play this game to earn your approval/respect. It is certainly something we value but... believe it or not, we play to have fun, like everyone else. Ulli isn't fun to anyone, but it really isn't fun to people who have killed him hundreds of times already... and if there is a way to use our work from one activity in game to reduce the redundancy and demoralizing boredom involved in another, it is something our leadership is going to consider doing.

Is it a cop out to buy stones, from legit sources even (the whole weak-sauce thing that’s been mentioned)? Maybe... idk. To me, and this absolutely would apply to any other group... there is a point in time where one earns the right to say that it is a given that they can fulfill the requirements to get to __________ without actually having to do it.

We, as a group, have nothing to prove when it comes to sky... we KNOW we can do it. We, as a group, decided to buy stones on occasion; and we, as a group, do what we can to avoid questionable purchases. That is good enough for most of us. It does not cross our definition of ethics, though it may come close... And well- If you feel it is immoral to take a risk... and if you feel these reasons and attempts at controlling who we buy from are not good enough for you... There is nothing really I can do for you :(

When I'm browsing Bazaars, especially so in BD, I don't give a shit about the names of the person the items are on unless they're garbled letters. So yeah, not remembering the name is realistic.

But knowing you, it was just meant a subtle insult towards North Americans/Europeans. Fuck off and die already.

It's selffish that you guys bought those stones support the RMTs, look in our server atm. RMTs all over, because of your own benefit and boredom of spend time in sky; you fuck all other sky LSs over with, and screw the whole game community. Tell me where is the legit sources for buying stones that not belong to RMTs, maybe I can buy some for my LS also so we can get some haidates and kirins also.

There are right and wrong things to do especially when it come to RMTs, Gilsellers, and messing up the game balance. I love this game, but lately everything is messing up, sky, farming, camping NMs are all fucked up.

I wish everyone that read this thread can take sometime out and send suggestion to PoL web site make ulli stone rare/ex and change his spawn time. That way much will change for us all.

And this is why the arguement would still be around if it had nothing to do with RMT. They'd just be "fucking all other sky LSs over" by buying stones they aren't camping. Like I, and Artem said, this entire flames basis is on an irrate person tired of not progressing. It really has not much to do with RMT other than being the source of majority of the stones being sold lately.

I saw 2 Autumnstones out in Batallia just now for 6.5M. Isn't that pretty cheap already? I mean the drops from Byakko and Kirin alone (the money drops) prolly come close to that? If not I'm sure any sky LS would be willing to sell all their money drops for the stone.

Okay, I'm gonna spill the beans on something that is apparently TOP SECRET NEWS. This is how RMT currently works on our server:

-Groups of 12+ characters with names created by slapping their dicks on the keyboards slowly level up to 75.
-Captain Gilmaker looks at the economy, decides where the dickslaps can wedge in to make gil, and sends them there.
-Dickslaps claim/kill using whatever means necessary and until no one wants their product anymore, they stay there.

Dickslaps don't have to move because there are literally hundreds of them. And whether you like it or not, Byakko's Haidate are one of the best melee items in the game, thus creating a 100% neverending demand for the item. If Captain Gilmaker can keep getting occasional stones, someone will buy them. End of story. The same is true with Behemoth Hides, D.Cloths, SSG items, and everything else they camp every day.

Where am I going with this? Basically, Ulli is a blip on the radar for these guys. You'll see the same group of dickslaps at the same camps every day, and new ones being levelled to go invade other camps. They annoy just as many other people as they do the people who want Ulli, and until S-E actually decides to step up and get rid of these groups, you're going to have to get used to them. That means staying on your toes and doing your best to get the claim. That's really all there is to it, like it or not. Creating a topic whining about people buying Ulli stones isn't going to magically make people not want haidate or make people stop buying stones, so don't kid yourselves and just hope you can outclaim them. If just ignoring gilsellers made them go away, they would've been gone years ago. But like those ancient bots that still can outclaim you, they are still alive and kicking.

As for making stones rare/ex, this is already covered in another topic on the end-game discussion forum as to why this is an absolutely terrible idea.

do got a point if SE would have done there job by A investigating claim and B make it so the bots the have don't work or C be able to detect these programs and banned these sob. We would not even have this thread.

I ag...gr...aaggrr...aagg...ggrrr...eeeeee...with hellstorm...! =P
Even if they (GMs) can't jail based on reported* sightings/admittings to RMT/cheating/etc or whatever BS they spout, they could easily camp a NM prepop and bust the entire group when they're caught cheating. But the GMs won't even give us that much...

And Rappa, that's really only half-right. If demand drops low enough, they'll give up on that particular NM. They actually stopped going after Jujitsu Gi/Archer's Knife/Dodge Earring around July-September. Though you are right in this case, I seriously doubt the demand for Ullistones would ever drop low enough for RMT to give up on it, unless a craptop of people decide to get Barbarossa's Zerehs instead.

(Now only if I could get a Black Coffin run...)

*Not sure how I typed into whatever the crap I typo'd that into.

The difference being that if they cant sell the ulli-stone, they can still pop him and get sellables from there that never goes out of demand.
