Through a thread on Allakhazam, I found a link to SE's planned AF storage system for the next big update. If you have multiple sets of AF gear for jobs, you can trade them to an NPC for storage and reduce your moghouse clutter. Sounds like a nice idea, even though I don't have any AF gear of my own.

hey will be real nice
i have to choose which job i gonna play and get their AF cause of the storeage limite and they are EX and Rare

well guess that problem will not happen hahahaaaaa

I like that!!!! Bout time. Betcha they charge us gil to store it though. Damn them!!!!

Sounds like a good idea, although another mog safe expansion would be nice too. I hope they will set it up like a mog "safe" system where you can claim your AF in any town. I have a static for WHM and switch back and forth twice a week at least. If I have to go back to Sandy like a "storage" system it might not work too well. That is, until I have like four sets of AF and need to store two sets for a long periodof time, then the trip back to Sandy once a month wouldn't be a factor. I guess we will just have to wait and see, but at least they are trying. They do seem a little more forthcoming with news about what is in the update this time arround. Although I am sure there is a lot we still don't know about.

That'd be incredibly useful ._.; I dont have room for my 4 sets of AF + relic

Hey, they're not counting the AF weapon? Scam. =P

Really though, this does seem like it'd be really useful...alot better than tossing the AF then going to that one NPC and reactivating that specific AF quest for 10k-ish

This sounds great... could one hope that they are... ACTUALLY listening to players and dealing with our long spoken problems? Hmm... can't wait to see what they have in store.

I think you should get additional space in your mogsafe every time you unlock a job. The idea of allowing acharacter to have many jobs is great, but they should give you extra space to hold the stuff for all the jobs.

Honestly though, you should be able to buy a bigger mogsafe with {outside} {world} money. It'd be like adding a mule, minus the inconvenience of sending stuff, and minus the restriction for EX items. The only reason I can fathom that they don't let us do this is because they want us to have to spend extra time sending gear to and from mules, extending the life of the game. I expect there to be things in MMORPGs that extend the game without being especially fun or interesting, but they should at least be subtle. Some of the stuff in this game is so blatant, it's insulting.

I'd dig it.

But I'd rather have them:

- Increase the volume of Storage you can have.
- Give one more increase (atleast) to baseline vault space
- Allow users to house more than one mannequin.

I would get a kick out of seeing an entire room packed wall to wall with different Mannequin with AF on them. Even if the mannequin are creepy as hell.

hmm, thqat would be very useful, even though i dont have my full set of af yet :(

I thought it was kind of silly from the beginning to have a limit on storage in the mog safe. I mean, this mog can move instantanously between cities and yet he doens't have the power to store more than 50 items (without mog safe upgrades)? One would think the magical mogs would be able to hold any number of items.

and Marato, your sig rocks. ^_^v

The only thing I don't like about this is the fact that you need the full set of AF armor in order to give it to the NPC. Other than that, though, I like this system.

Also, chances are if you can't pick up your armor from more than one place, you'll be dropping it off and picking it up in Jeuno. And since most parties around that level start in Jeuno, I really don't think it's gonna be a problem if you can't pick up your armor in other cities.

hopefully there'll be more than 1 npc per zone if possible... imagine thousands of players huddling around 1 npc to trade and retrive their af... but it's a good idea never the less...

I like that!!!! Bout time. Betcha they charge us gil to store it though. Damn them!!!!

This could help get gil out of the economy and help with the inflation problem...that is if they charge us...
