I got the following at my disposal, a '*' denotes the choice I have to make:

Head:
Puppetry Taj +1 *
Optical Hat

Neck:

Rajas

Puppetry Babouches +1 *
Marine F Boots.

The choice boils down to the following:

Base accuracy: 304

Either:
I get the +1 head, and use Marine F boots for: +3 Str, +8 Dex, and +8 Vit;

Or I get the +1 feet and use Op hat for: +15 Accuracy and +5 Str.
(this would also be inventory +2)


Normally this wouldn't be a hard sell to me to go for the stats, but thwe problem I find is that accuracy seems to be much more of a concern for pup than any other job.

I could get the head upgraded too, and achieve +5 Str, +5 Dex, +5 Vit, +5 Accuracy.

Opinions?

I'd definitely stick get the Puppetry Babouches +1. Like you said, accuracy is very important for PUP and the babouches give +5 STR as opposed to +3 (and str modifies the WS while DEX does not).

Just from me having tried it myself, I would not recommend Flame Ring either for your WS and I would stick with Rajas and an accuracy ring (I like Ulthalam's). I myself would change the Life Belt for a Potent Belt as STR is important and the Pixie Earring for a Merman's Earring as I find truly PUP's biggest problem is our attack and every little bit helps.

Your setup looks very good though and is pretty similar to mine too

I'd personnaly go just like asuran fists, it's 6 hits so accuracy is a must. Basically what I do on monk is acc+ attack > everything else. Accuracy is not always better than attack either.

Head ~ usukane head is probably the best choice.
Neck ~ Faith torque, which as either unmeritted or full merited, gives you exactly 7 acc/7attack (and one more base dmg if full merits).
Body ~ enkidu seems fine, and is probably the "best" ws body although usu body is probably close enough.
Legs ~ usukane yes, another option is volunteer's brais (acc 6)
feet ~ usukane probably, and stop tp +7 gets you slightly more tp return
ears ~ brutal + merman or brutal+minuet or brutal+hollow
rings ~ unlike other slots, this will depend on cap/ uncap acc situations.
waist ~ not many choice here, life belt.
cape ~ can't beat pantin

If Dex affects Stringing Pummel it is for the crit bonus, and while that is important, it is my understanding you need a ton of DEX to make it matter. When I WS (including food) I have +29 STR and +26 DEX along with +3 VIT, VIT gear is just hard to come by and in my opinion, it isn't worth giving up STR, Acc and Attack for.

In no way am I saying what you're using is bad! You are a lot better than most PUP's I see at 75.

To go along with what Pchan said, I use a Faith Torque too and I get better results using Soil Gorget than Faith Torque on Stringing Pummel. I also have Usukane Sune-ate and find that Puppetry Babouches +1 does better for me than WSing in Usukane Sune-ate.
