I've been bored lately on the game, waiting for my static to start, and was wondering, what is the spawn time on the Chyme(s)? I was just interested in camping it and to try to bring the price down alittle bit on the ring, IF I ever get a drop that is. :roll:
If I remember correctly, 10 minutes, maybe 15, not very long.

Yea, Chyme is a 12 min spawn, I went 0/12 in one night, it pissed me off. Thought for sure I'd get even one....but noooooooooo SE screwed us over -.-;;
Actually, if you want to be exact, Stroper spawns every 5 game hours, almost exactly, +/- about 10 game min usually. Also, there are 4 stropers that spawn every cycle. ( so if you enter ordelle's at 0:00 game time, by 5:00 4 stropers will have poped and probably died, or are in the process of being killed.

Yes, SC's spawn time is pretty much exactly 12 minutes after dying, maybe a little more. And the ring's drop rate is HORRIBLE. I suggest having THF sub or main if you're able to instantly claim it somehow (DRG's Jump, MNK's Chi Blast, WAR's Provoke... I think that's it - note that Chyme isn't a NM, so BST's Charm doesn't work too well... >.> ). You want to be able to claim it while moving, so spells aren't such a good idea either.
Also, it's possible to camp two different Chymes at the same time if you're fast at running, although it can be difficult to keep track of when they'll spawn again. If you only camp one, it's rather easy to farm while waiting for it to respawn (Malboro vines are 900-1k, crystal clusters are a few k each, slime oil is 9k-10k for a stack, bat wings and different types of seeds are a few k per stack, various goblin armor sells decently, etc). Just make sure you have enough inventory space if you do that...

Actually, VE only spawns during the morning, from 8:00-12:00 EST, Earth time. So it is not worth camping it in the evening when I am home from work and playing, it is not, it won't spawn.... I am just there to get a tan....
