Stuck on the wrong character

How do you change party leaders, i was in a fight with the wraith and Vaan died the my leader got swiched to Bashe, and i dont know how to swich back, i can chage leader by removing people from the party and leader goes back to Vaan but is there another way

Outside of the command window, I pressed "down" on the control pad and then was able to select who the leader should be.

up and down both work

I did that all the time on harder fights before I got Decoy. Someone got hate, I switched leader to that character and kited it.

haha yeah I'm finding myself doing that too.

One thing that you should take note of though, you can also switch PT members on the fly in a battle, but only when they're not being targeted. If your running low on health after a big attack, you can easily open the status menu and just swap to other people, as long as their name isn't red.

I did that too. I keep thinking interuption will come and i'm just like "fuck i'm screwed" but then thunder went off ^^

I like how when your party gets whiped you get to switch in your reserves and continue, or in my case run like hell from the rare mob that one shotted me.

I've kept thinking that my controller is messed up because I can't auto-run. :crazy:
