Stuff White People Like

I've been reading this off and on for the past few days, and it cracks me up.
 
I looked at the first page and I have to say that 9/10 of those are total bullshit. I mean cmon, Mos Def? I don't know a single white person that listens to that shit. And standing still at concerts? Again...wtf? I think the dude that writes this either must not be white or he's a wigger because he doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about.
 
You're over-thinking. It's not meant to be a serious sociological profile of white people.

"Apple Products" is #40. Fucking apple products dude! I told you this guy doesn't know wtf he's talking about.

The problem with this blog is that it tries to generalize the entire white race, and as we all know that's just fucking impossible. What he should have done was make a blog about black people, or mexicans. They're super easy to generalize and 98% of the time, you're right, because as we all know, all minorities everywhere are all exactly the same.

No, no I do as little thinking about comedy as possible. I just have this wierd idiosyncrasy where I don't like retarded shit.

EDIT: Ok, I'll give this blog some credibility, some of it is pretty true and funny - true of a certain type of white person. See, he failed to subcategorize(or maybe I just failed to assume). Like with the apple one, he should have said "all retarded rich white people", or with the marijuana one, he should have said "all cool white people", or Mos Def - "all trend slave wiggers". Or then again, maybe it is just me. I find that highly unlikely though, my sense of humor is so much better than all of yours.

Not all black people are the stereotypical kind, wearing chains, letting their pants sag, and listening to rap "music".
Not all mexicans are stereotypical, speaking with heavy accents, ending every other sentence with "homes" or "mang", and listening to rap "music" (lolucwutididthar?)
True, white people may not have a large group of people that makes them easy to stereotype, but that just means there's more fun in pointing out the funny things in each...grouping, I guess you could call it?
The trailer trash may not listen to Mos Def, and there's not a large portion outside of self-classified otakus that idolize Japan. But I still don't see how this guy is wrong just because he doesn't "subcategorize".
 
You spelled it wrong Xali, it's 'muzak'. I had a site written up for black jokes some time ago, but I lost it. It's old but it might still be a little funny to look at. The guy is obviously not 'right' since he's taking a jab at so many at once, it's impossible for him to be completely accurate. Then again, comedy doesn't always need to be. whether or not someone finds it funny or not can be dependent on the individual, however, there are of course some things which are plainly in bad taste.

I think I know why it's not funny. His delivery takes too long on the stereotypes, and it comes off as he's trying too hard to be funny.

I've yet to ever hear something I thought was in "bad taste". I don't find anything offensive when it comes to comedy. Hell, I've even cracked jokes about 911.
 
Well, it's different of course, since I might find jokes offensive you wouldn't (however, I don't find certain stereotypes offensive even though they are taking a jab at my race in a broad sense).
