In an xp party, if you have a DRK and a BLM, then the DRK should be the primary stunner. He will just be meleeing about 95% of the time, and should be ready to cast. A BLM should be casting or resting, and with long casting times higher up, there is less chance s/he will be able to cast stun at any given moment.
The exception is if you get an add with (or for some reason decide to fight) a bomb or other mob that must be stunned. Then the DRK is still first to stun, but the BLM must then stop casting and wait for the DRK's casting timer to cool down before resuming normal spells.
The only time BLM is the main stunner is during the SC. Example: DRG uses Wheeling Thrust and vokes to turn the mob > BLM casts Stun to save about 798797mp of the whm healing the DRG > then DRK closes the SC with SATA Spinning Slash (Light) > MB. This also prevents annoying AoE stun attacks by Weapon-type mobs from ruining the SC.
Events like HNM's are a totally different issue. For that you have a stun order and stick to it. I know that it can be difficult for DRK's if the stun order is based on a game timer (example: stun on 10-30-50). The clock isn't normally visible on-screen if you are engaged in melee. I honestly don't know if there is a command to make the clock remain always visible during melee.

there is if you go to the magic tab > stun then target the mob, then you can see the clock just fine I do it all the time in HNM or w/e

yeah i think that makes sence lol. anyways both cap at 269, but if everyone follows a stun order on a NM mob then you shouldn't be doing anything but waiting to stun when your up.

After 3+ levels of exp on exploding dolls in Delk's tower (60-63), I figured I had as much a right as anyone.
BLM and DRK who dont stun are morons who arent taking advantage of their class skills. At any rate the drk's dark magic will always cap out, i'm not sure if most blm's keep their dark skill capped while leveling. I know my blm is 37 and i havent managed to cap it yet despite bio'ing and draining and aspiring whenever applicable...

Stun for a BLM is wierd, I've seen some BLMs who use it at every availability, and some that you'd think didn't even know the spell existed.
It's harder for BLMs to stun, especially bomb tosses (fatal ones) which are -usually- right at about 75% of the goblin's HP, which is when you should be nuking, and then around 35% and below when the BLM should be magic bursting. I've not exactly had fights over this, but I've had to make sure people know that, as far as I know, SE hasn't made it possible to cast stuns and thundaga, enfeebles, or whatever the hell you're casting at the time.
I try to stun as much as I can, in an experience points party, but theres only so much I can do while not casting a spell.
