Wow I have to congratulate SE on being stupid as hell and selling one Wamoura Caccoon a day, thats pretty damn stupid that they did that. That poor NPC gets raped at 6:00 every Vana day by everyone that needs it. Pretty damn ridiculous, I'm going on my 7th try now... hopefully I'll get it ^^

I'm facing this same problem. It actually sells 4-6 a day, not one. But when 10-20 people are spamming on him it makes it incredibly difficult to obtain one.

Of course, it doesn't help that idiots are buying them for 700 gil and then turning them into clothes and selling for 1.5 mil. Profit is one thing, I can understand, but thats just horribly overdoing it -_-. I've gotten 2 out of the 6 I need in the past 2 days. /sigh.
 
Ya it's gonna make Pup extinct if SE don't do anything about this crap, Put 20 in that vendor then we'll see what the rpice of one will go down to

Am I really the only one who thinks this is not stupid at all? Perhaps that's because I don't actually play the game, but from a developers perspective it makes perfect sense to introduce very limited supply items to the economy, especially if they are needed for job progression.

How? Most of the cacoons go to other players who dont need it and sell it for about 500x the normal price on AH :| I did it once but meh, dont think its so great

Bingo: Here's an idea

Avoid the hype for a bit. When it dies down then go for it. Reason #1 why I'm not leveling new jobs right now.

This is also why I'm not getting the new frames for a while. The Harlequin frame's best for what I do anyway (which is solo as far as I possibly can)
 
Um... You can get the Cacoons as drops guys. I realize some of you aren't really able to go out and fight, but the rest of us can just go out and get them.

Wow, even though Skaw is an elitist prick, I agree with him on this one. The hype and the way that SE did this new expansion just goes to show that they want us to play longer. Now there is one BLU that is already 35 on our server and claims to have all the spells, but from talking to other people that are playing that job, they try and try to get spells yet they take forever to get. I have an idea though.......stop triing to be the first PUP COR or BLU to 75 and learn your job and get all of the skills that come with learning it. How do you even know that gear is the best for PUP anyway? Try shit out and maybe you'll see you don't even need it.
 
i kinda agree with skaw. everyone ran around frantically trying to do stuff, and normally, i would have to.. but i was busy since the day the expansion pack came out, and di most my stuff this weekend.. and i got alot done, quicker than most my friends.. soooo :) made me happy i was busy.
 
I avoided the guild for a while, and went out and tried tried to farm them. The only area that I could find any in was overcamped; I gave up even trying to claim any (being solo fighting DC-T mobs) after a while.

So I ran over to the guild and got one the first time I tried.
 
im with skaw. Im not even touching a new job for a long long time. Theres an over abundance of people leveling new jobs so badly right now, its hard to make a balanced pt.
Thats why im leveling smn. Its so easy to get a pt. i just made 12 levels in 2 days, yep. 6 levels each day. i aint complainin!

i happen to know that blu u speak of. He really does have every spell he can have for that level.
Im also in a static with a blu who is now 27. and he also has every spell he needs so far.
