Stupid Computer... = =

So... to make a long story short. I entered Dynamis Bastok tonight a noticed alot more lag than usual... like everything teleporting everywhere lag. But hey i thought it was just... i ono. Dynamis. Ten or 15 minutes into dyn... my windower crashes. Wooo. so then i tried to kick it back on, no dice. Tried the fullscreen version even. Cant get connected. Now i havnt had this problem... so i thought maybe i'l try online somewhere to see if there was... help? somewhere? and i dont have internet. at all. I called my friend (who plays on this server also) to see if he had any idea, and he mentioned something about a network card... or something like that. Im not exactly a computer whiz like he is, but i get by =\... So here i am on my family computer, with my poor connection-less compy at Best Buy. gogo warranty = =

But through that whole telling the mom my comp isnt working.. taking it to best buy... ect ect... im just about done installing FFXI on my family comp cuz my dad uninstalled it since the last time my comp died... and i just thought i'd post here to let everyone know kinda what happend, cuz i missed the whole damn dynamis-bastok run =\

i guess it happend at a good time, if any, cuz i have a soccer tourney this weekend so i wont be on much anyways the next 2 days. but, f i can get this computer running with ffxi.. or maybe nothing too bad happend to my comp... we'll see... im very attached to my compy ; ;

in conclusion: computer problems suck. and happen at the worst. times. ever.

Best Buy PCs=crap. Get a friend that knows about components if you don't and visit www.newegg.com. If you do understand what will work together, build your own. The only PC that I ever bought that I didn't put together myself is the PoS Toshiba laptop that I bought in Iraq to watch movies on and play Dungeon Seige II. Everything else is all custom made. Actually, I don't think any of my friends have a "store bought" PC. They are just {Too weak} for the money you spend on them.

i agree. but i live in a house under the golden rule..

"He who hath the gold, rules"

so my parents believe they get the best deal with a storebought PC and its warranties to take in if it breaks then getting a custom one off the net or custom made, despite me telling them otherwise.

i just hope its nothing major and i get it back 2morrow or sunday. I know some of the people that work at best buy (my younger sis' old comp broke like every other week a while back, lol we went there alot) so i was able to take it in and have promise me they'll get a look at it asap. OR so they say. silly customer service
