Last week at my company some "smart" person created one of those chain emails and shut down the whole email server for almost 2 days.
It read something like:
"We had someone hack into the email server and create usernames, so please respond to this email so we know you are real, or your ID will be suspended and you could be terminated." :shok:
Well fast forward 2 hours and the server takes a crap because its now averaging 200 emails per second. So now I'm still getting emails from last week, actual important emails, and some of the chain email too. I hope whoever did this got fired lol.
Please dont forward chain emails at work, its not real. No company would ever ask you to reply to everyone in the company to preserve your job. Its just stupid! :nono:
