Stupid Version update and stupid DSL ><

[Gerry]

Ok, I started getting the version update last night, and it took about 5 hours to get 1500 files downloaded (1 DSL cut out during that time), and now it's taken about 3 hours to download 300 files (Yet another DSL cut off in that time) and I am still downloading the update with 198 files left and 1 hour and 21 minutes left on the timer ><;;;; :banghead3: This version update had better be worth this wait ><

Now i feel slightly better that i got that off my chest...

Edit: I'd like to add that I was up till 00:30 last night for the 1st part and I started the 2nd part of the update at around 4pm when i got home from school... sucks to be me right now -.-; (also found out I failed my 1st AS ICT exam today with the lowest score in the class while the ppl who didn't study passed, not a good day)

[Grem]

Would be nice if updates could be mirrored like WoW. The downloader for that craps out on me all the time, but 3 minutes with a mirror and it's done. Swish.

I'll gladly trade you my dial up connection

[Gerry]

With how my DSL work I'd gladly trade it for anything...

It cuts out at random times and multiple times, which really ticks me off when I'm downloading stuff like Naruto episodes, FFXI and WoW updates etc

If only my mum would get a more reliable ISP and DSL, but my mum doesn't really know good offers on internet

I can show your mom where to get it better. ^^

35 minutes left on the download, this means it's been around, oh... nearly 10 hours more or less...

Edit: 9 minutes to go
