Got a party today 63-65.

Had a NIN BRD WHM (Me), then SAM, DRG and MNK.

The mnk asks what to sub, leader says WAR.

We get to camp, the mother fucker uses meditate. Both the SAM and DRG sub THF, and shit is a mess with me trying to keep these idiots alive after an incinerate. 3-4 people shouldn't be yellow health during a fight there. There should only be 1, maybe 2 if the THF happens to be dropping TA during an incinerate.

DRG (Kayn, almost PTd with him yesterday, but he had no ISP) should NEVER sub THF in XP.

SAM (Lucifel) can use sub THF, but should pick and choose his moments.

MNK (Saliene) should NEVER sub SAM.

I told all 3 idiots they should be salivating at the chance to sub WAR.

30 min after party started I bailed on the idiots, I don't need to spend 200+ MP curing people who use SATA to put hate on themselves. I'm getting into a rythmn when I have to spam cure 3 & 5 on these retards.

I even had to suggest to the MNK to not stand behind the mob, where the DRG was using SATA, so he wouldn't get hit with incinerate.

PLEASE SE, RAISE THE XP NEEDED PER LEVEL AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
wow lol thats pretty shitty deal, i never used any sub but WAR lvling my DRG
 
In all fairness, the MNK could have subbed THF. Quite possibly the worst job combo in the game.
 
Ninja tank right? Kayn could have been subbing THF to help land SATA and stick hate, but I would think it would be sort of sloppy with that many. I also highly dislike /THF on anything but SAM. Bad experiences.
 
But mnk/thf can close fusion with howling fist! Thats so awesome isn't it?

Alright, I will admit, some of the subs were a bit off. Mnk/Sam I have no clue if it's justified or not, but yes it is strange and probably should have been double checked.


But really, from that log and from what my friend said you're coming off very stubborn and being a prick about the whole situation. (But you're meeze so it's justified or whatever I guess.)

All I'm really saying is that you are pretty much jumping the gun with these guys and took no time to really try and fix the situation if you were so freaking troubled that you had to heal other people. It looks like you're just over-exagerating the entire scenario and just need something to bitch about.

But hey, I wasn't there, perhaps I'm missing something entirely. But I took Whm to 75 and had plenty of experience going through mecha-godzilla bullshit like this, and if you're just so overwhelmed by this kind of crap then get to fuck off WHM and find something else to level.

I guess I may have dug my own grave....... D:

Ok, that's the last 5 or so minutes. At the top of the 2nd SS you see buffs asked for. Previous to it, I had asked for them to change their subs.

You also notice me telling the MNK not to stand behind the mob where he can get hit with TP moves...after almost 30 min of xp...where is the common sense.

You also didn't catch the part before we left whitegate, the leader asking the MNK to sub war. The mnk even went anon.

BRD WHM and NIN should mean I dont dip under 400mp...ever. I was constanly down to 100 or less. If I wanted to waste MP, I woulda found a PLD with shitty gear to xp with.

I was even fucking up haste keeping everyone alive, I'm sure you can ask anyone who has partied with me that I often keep 3-4 players hasted in a party, but with everyone taking 500 damage to incinerate I barely kept haste up on the NIN.

Edit: I don't waste my time in shitty parties, I'd rather sit and watch my moogle spin around.

It's still a two hit skill. Which reduces the effectiveness of SATA.

Monk with Staff, hell, even club is more effective as /thf than Hand to hand.
 
I know im not a 1337 player like you Meeze... and i sure as hell dont know anything about higher lvling...
but i would like to say... if i knew there was a thf or /thf in the party i would have subed war to set up SaTa...
i asked party if they cared what i subed they said no.. so i asked if i could sub /thf cuz i heard that SA wheeling thrust was awsome... so i did... i like to try new things..but what i seen from that party was i didnt like subing thf...
so.. if it does matter i'll sub /sam... dot is higher in my opinion..

now about the party... the mnk was in the wrong spot sence she wasnt turning mob... and i never Ta i just Sa+Ws.... and the flame breath thing wont be so bad if you would cast barfira once in a while... and i dont care about haste.. so i wouldnt even talk about that.. but when the tank is sitting at yellow HP for a hole min theres something wrong...

and the damn bard should have been the only one complaining.. he was doin your job and his but he didnt say anything....

so if you dont want me in your party or you dont want to be in my party becuase i like to try new things. so be it. its not like its the end of the world..

I'm not gonna try to justify why they subed what they subbed, if they care enough about it they'll post why.

But seeing as the PT lasted a good promising "30 mins" I just don't think it warrents you to come here a complain about this petty shit.

But this is all just my observation, my word has much less fucking importance that someone who was actually in the PT.

You want to try new things...DRG has been out for 4 years no, there is nothing new left. If you want to choose a shitty sub, do it with your friends.

Barfira was being cast by the BRD so I wouldn't run in while he was singing a song.

Why don't you have the full screenshot where you can see me spamming C3, 4 & 5 to get everyone out of the yellow/orange.

As far as partying with you...I didn't want to. I was invited and you were already there. You didn't even have 200 ISP the day before because you had used it all up getting warp scrolls.

The BRD wouldn't have to do any curing if you idiots weren't turning the mob around, or standing behind the tank when incinerate was going off. The reason he was curing so much is because there was always 3-4 people in the way on incinerate, he even stood in the way of incinerate a few times.
 
I don't really understand how this party functioned...

So the Eruca would arrive at camp and then what? The ninja voked and the melee SA'd it (why sub THF at all if this was the case)? The monk would steal hate with his super TP-gaining skills and one of the other two would SATA the nin? The DRG would SATA the MNK, so that the SAM could SATA the NIN?

Either way it seems like a whole lot of mob turning going on, on a mob which has a very dangerous cone-shaped attack.
 
so you a 75 drk. you are going to tell me that if everyone subed war.. that the mob would not have turned??? i highly doubt it.. so you would have to cure everyone anyway...

the only one standing behind the tank was the Sam... the Mnk was standing in front of me... if the Sata a little faster than the incinerate wont have been that big of a deal..

the reason you only got those 2 SS is becuase i like to spam my macros and i wanted to get what was said.. and thats all i could get..

and the last thing im goin to say...
the party lasted 30mins... my food didnt wear off until i got to town.. in that 30mins no once did we have to stop.. and no one died...we still got 5k without any xp rings.
so it must not have be that bad.
so if your to lazy to cure someone other than the tank. than why dont you party with your friends...
 
These guys are pretty retarded, what they should do is:

>fight starts TANK 1st voke
>DRG SA Wheeling Thrust or w/e the hell WS would be good for the SC to pull hate
>SAM is behind the TANK
>SAM closes WS with SATA Gekko or w/e
>TANK gets hate which should last til end of fight
>MNK closes fight with Raging Fist or Dragon Kick on DRG
>If that doesn't kill it and DRG has lotsa hate DRG always has Super Jump
>Fights over
>Rinse Repeat

its not that fucking hard to make a decent strategy even for a not so good party set up like that

your retarded, im a 75 DRG and 62 WAR on my char

i never subbed anything but WAR on my DRG for a couple reason
1)Berserk/WarCry(70+)
with that fuck SATA if it crits you can do a lot more damage
2)DRG is supposed to open the SC not close it so you leave the /THF to a job that has more bas STR ATT ect. like SAM DRK or something like that

and you obviously dont know how shitty it is for WHM having to waste all there mp healing 3-4 people that are almost critical HP

just do everyone a favour and stick with /WAR
