Subligar Race to Jeuno!

Thought i'd share what I think myself and others considered to be "good times". My social/event LS recently hosted a "Subligar Race to Jeuno" on Saturday. One of our long time members had quit (Ichibankitsune) and as with others who have quit, our members usually tend to give a large sum of gil/gear to the LS to split among the members. This time, we were given 500k to split with the members and decided that a fun way to do this would be to have a race to Jeuno as lvl 1 characters, wearing subligars. The 4 people who made it to Jeuno, or the closest to Jeuno would receive a prize of 100k, and the others who would participate would be given random gifts such as food for xp parties and fireworks which was purchased with the remaining 100k.

So here are the screenshots of our LS event


First, the contestants! Timwakefield, Evanai, Lorraine (real character: Clarisse), Bobthemule (real character: Falk), Warp (real character: Shaoulin), Myrrh, Spalko and Soulstar.

Then the race begins!

Everyone made it to Jugnar Forest... however... thats when the fun began. The first person to get aggro and die was Timwakefield, but then again he was in the lead for the most part so maybe that had been everyone's plan, let him get aggro first! (Notice in the distance that there's a tiger following Evanai <_<)

Then the next to go down, only a few feet away from Tim was Evanai! (Lokelani)

Next to die was Myrrh (hahaha) followed by Soulstar. Our winners ended up being: Warp, Lorraine, Bobthemule and Spalko, and all 4 were awarded the big prizes. After the race was over, we all headed back to San d'Oria where the race had begun and we gave out the other goodies. Here are some pics:

Notice that Myrrh (little tarutaru girl) has found a hiding spot. Seems he likes teh Galka subligar >_>

And here we have Myrrh trying to burn Evanai (mithra girl) with the fireworks. I believe he was trying to burn out her eyes.

And finally, the best of the best... our beautiful galka butterfly ^^

We didn't end up having as many members show up as we had hoped (stupid billing maintenance caused some members not to be able to log on) but we definitely had a blast. Thanks to TheBrotherhood members who came out and gave us all some good laughs

i've done naked lvl 1 races before from a town to jueno lots of fun glad to see there are people who still know how to have fun in this game i might even suggest to members in my ls we try this maybe bastok to jueno might be fun
