Sugaring or other methods of hair removal

Wow this thread effectively went somewhere I didn't see coming.

I hate spiders but I don't freak out when I see them or anything. I try to leave them alone until they drop from the ceiling in front of me or something and force me to smooosh them. Now bees on the other hand... Especially the big fat ass ones that sound like a plane landing when they fly by. I REALLY hate those.

lol, I'm the same. I flail my arms around like a little kid and run away when I see a bee..lol. I just know its coming to sting me D:

Spiders are the scourge of the earth and need to be nuked into extinction. At which point, we need to teach birds and cute fuzzy animals to be more efficient insectivores.

I once found a spider in my house as big around as an American Silver Dollar. No fucking thank you. She was large and she wasn't afraid of anything. I however, was screaming at the top of my lungs. The dog went nuts and I didn't want her to eat it so I picked up her 150lb ass and tossed her (gently, I'm not Anttaru) into the laundry room and shut the door. Then proceeded to psyche myself out enough to run down the hallway in a Norse Berserker fashion and flying-stomp-of-doom it into the carpetting.

I fucking hate spiders.

Man I can't stand spiders either. I don't even know where the fear came from. Snakes, bees, anything else don't really bother me. I see a spider and thats it I am frozen. It is sad.

Not bumblebees D: They can't sting, and they're deaf. Don't be mean :(

I've never been stung by a bee, and I'm terrified I'm going to get stung one day and die from some bee-related allergy. Bees scare me more than spiders, but less than ghosts.

I'm not scared of Bees but I do hate them. I just can't stand something flying around my head. Irritates the fuck out of me to hear that noise too.

I was playing baseball in middle school (read: eons ago) and I felt this thing on my neck. I picked it off of my neck and held it between my index finger and thumb, and found that it was a bee. /panic. Threw it to the ground and stomped the fker flat.

Only place I've been stung by a bee - the tender part of my foot. HURT LIKE HELL.

Relevance to OP: Bees like Honey. Honey looks like Nad's/Sugaring solution.

And smells like embalming fluid.

I got stung on the back of my knee by a honeybee. That hurt a lot. I have lots of interesting spider stories though >_> the suicidal ones like to fuck with me before watching their thorax go through their fucking forehead.

On Topic: Razor burn hurts.

This happened to me except I picked it off my lower back, not my neck, and I proceeded to do a little freak out dance in the middle of my living room. And I didn't stomp it, I grabbed the nearest thing I saw (a bottle of Pledge furniture polish) and waxed that bitch to death. Literally.

And that was the first and only place I got stung too, on the tender part of my foot. ; ; And it hurt a LOT. Walking sucked.

I didn't say I put on my Beehunter Zyn costume and played exterminator. XD I just hate them. I'm fine unless they decide they like my face or figure walking up bare parts of my body would be entertaining. Then I get a little wiggy.

On topic: Nads blows. How ironic.

lol, never tried it. Though I have a wedding coming up and I've started to seriously consider waxing for it. Being the maid of honor, one less thing I want to have to deal with.

This thread wins, why?

1. Stine asked for suggestions on shaving alternatives
2. Users started talking about keeping their body hairs under control, which lead into talking about people's preference of whether people should be au natural or shaven
3. We are talking about bugs that scare the crap out of us...

To stay on course...

I remember getting stung by a yellow jacket as a kid and then my grandmother telling me that pee helps in reducing the pain. The look I gave right afterwards pretty much conveyed to her, "WTF!?!" without even knowing how to swear at the age of 4.

Grandmas give the worst medical advice.

Once when i was little, I cut my hand rollerblading. I had tried to use the top of a chain-link fence to stop myself and it ripped my hand open.

I rolled into the house and showed my grandma, who grabbed my bleeding hand and dragged me into the bathroom. She then poured magma-hot water on it followed by every single chemical in the bathroom.

After she dried my still bleeding hand off, she applied a few bandaids, balled up a clean dish rag and made me clench in, and then made me wear a sock over my hand/rag to keep it in place. No hospital, no stitches. (Both of which I desperately needed.)

I have a Y-shaped scar on my left hand because it didn't heal right.

Wow lots of fun bug stories. I don't really have many myself but they're still entertaining. I got stung one time by a bee on my big toe but it was really uneventful.

I added something you forgot. I'm glad that you like the thread. XD Even with all the derail comments (which I did encourage I admit) I did get a lot of information and am going to put it to use once I get over my rash. I had a reaction to a steroid that my doctor gave me for a sickness recently. Something about my body getting hooked addicted to it and then having withdrawals. ; ;

The thoughts of lasers going pew pew around my balls left me in a catatonic state last time and now that it has been brough.................................................................................................................................................................... /drool
