Ok, i have played SMN before on my last char (only got it to 24 though). And it was awsome, but then again its summoner it was born awsome. I was thinking about going SMN main. And a few things have crossed my mind. 1. Should I level a WHM up to 65+ first and do prime fights or just do mini fights (WHM currently lvl 30)? 2. What are the many uses of SMN throughout the game? 3. How fairs the party invites? 4. Post lv.63 does SMN PWN (rumor i heard)? Plz help me out im very interested in SMN.

Unfortunately, I'm not a SMN but I've run into a few.... I'm sure they'll correct me if I get it wrong.

1. Apart from the cool factor of having them, most summons only start to get useful abilities in the mid twenties, so you can afford to get to 20 and do the minifights (taking WHM to 60 will take awhile, particularly if it's SMN you really want to play)
2. SMNs get a lot of useful group buffs (group blink, group stoneskin), but you'll spend a lot of time healing in between casting them. Post 70 you get Bloodpacts that allow you to do a lot of damage every minute, without hate.
3. a SMN would be better to answer that one...
4. Post 70 Summoner cannon parties work really well. At 75, a five SMN party will basically kill an exp mob with one BP each... so you basically kill a mob each minute. Summoners in HNM shells use BP damage on a lot of the big mobs in the game without taking aggro off tanks, allowing better hate control than BLMs

As far as party invites go I unfortunately recommend either get a static or start your own parties.
On all the other questions, see Blowys answers.

SMNs for the most part are main healers, and party buffers, they only really come into their own with the level 70~ blood pacts. Since there is a base 1 min recast on any blood pact, thats a minuite that unfortunately, you're gonna have to heal.

I'd suggest, getting a static for the avatars, heck I'd even join you but I doubt I'll be able to play at the same times. You'll need to fight the primes eventually for the moon bauble for fenrir etc. I'd also suggest a small CoP static for Diabolos, but you'll need to be a higher level.

I'd do the mini fork battles at 20 and then when you do your primes you can save your whispers for a moon bauble. There's nothing really you do with avatars pre 20 anyway. Fenrir doesn't come into his own until the 40s anyway.
