I just have to share my day with y'all yesterday. I'm such a happy camper right now and have done the happy dance in my chair at least 5 times since yesterday at around 6:30 PM CST. Anyway, my day went like this ...
It started out by logging on around 5 PM CST. The first thing I needed to do was make myself some mushroom stew. Well, one of the ingredients for it is puffballs and they aren't on the AH all that often from what I've seen. Anyway I was able to find a whole stack of them in Windurst. I synthed a stack of mushroom stew and not one break.
Then I went with Davio, Moev, Sabia, Garvin and many others on a carbie mitt run. We were able to get 2 light pact drops and there were 9 of us I believe who needed mitts. We got all the mitts in about 3 hours.
After that we tried to get Sabia her Summoner robe off the NM in Ro'Maeve. Unfortunately we didn't get the NM when he popped, but there is always later on today.
So, Skaw and Garvin were chatting about the different types of whm weapons and somehow the subject came up about NM and the Asklepios he drops. I mentioned that I would love to get it. Garvin says well we should go camp it and Skaw says he'll come also. I also mentioned that I have had coffer keys to Ugly PeePee forever and Den of Rancor. So we proceed to go there and Skaw not only finds my Temple coffer but the Den of Rancor one also. I now finally have those 2 maps I've been looking for forever.
We get to the NM spawn point and start killing tonberry's. Well after about 3 hours the NM pops. Needless to say I now have my Asklepios. What a great day!!!!
In closing, I'd like to say many thanks to Davio for setting up the carbie run, and especially to Garvin and Skaw for sticking with me for so long to pop the NM that dropped my shiny new Asklepios rod!!!
