Did anyone see this weeks South Park? Since Issac Hayes left due to them making fun of scientology, they made an episode about chef leaving, using patched together lines.

On top of that, they are more or less calling scientologist child molestors

Good stuff!

I was watching it in pip while playing tonight so i didnt get that connection til the speach at the very end. Soon as i did i was like... omg can they say that w/o getting sued. Funny as hell how they cut Chef's dialog into it. Neways Scientology, like all other religions, is a crock so... i lol'd at it.

Good farewell episode imo. And I wish that Isac Hayes didnt leave but since he did this is a good way for him to go.

One thing tho i dont think that they were literally were accusing scientology of being a bunch of child molestors (lets leave that to the catholics). What the poke was is that they brainwashed Hayes into quitting and this episode is their way of showing that they dont have anything against Hayes and his choices, just scientology. I read an article somewhere where there was actually a discussion where hayes was told to quit by scientologists due to the other scientology episode and infact hayes thought that it was funny til he was confronted by the people in his "church" (i guess). I'll look for the article but i have no idea where i saw it so i prolly wont find it.

I wonder if the Darth Chef will be a recurring character or if it was just a gag for the end of the episode...

Since Chef's voice is now different I'm sure Darth Chef will appear every once in a while.

i hope not i hope they just let it die here

Chef death is so sad T.T oh well.. funny :P

In an off-screen twist, doubt has been cast as to whether Hayes really meant to depart the animated series. FoxNews.com columnist Roger Friedman reported Monday that the 63-year-old "Shaft" soul great suffered a stroke on Jan. 17, and "is in no condition to quit anything."

"My sources say that someone quit [the show] for him," Friedman wrote.

Previous reports had Hayes hospitalized on Jan. 17 in Memphis for what was said to be exhaustion. The reputed stroke diagnosis was said to be news to Comedy Central.

South Park won't be the same without Chef. They should have had a volanco explode at the end and hit Chef just to rip off SW more. I would like to see Darth Chef make cameos now and then at the very least.

Well, he has departed from the show. However, he was busted on the Opie and Anthony show last week for a news interview he did in New York talking about the Scientology (lawlbawls) episode. Basically in the interview he said the episode didn't bother him in the slightest. That Matt and Trey pick on everyone and that is cool, they don't single out anyone. If they singled people out though it would be very negative. What a pud.

The thing I hate most about this is the censorship issue. I guess now high paid famous people can determine what we see, do, and hear. Hopefully Tom Cruise will choke on a nugget of poo and wake up.
