I just bought this today and dammit it's so good. Up until Psychonauts came out, platformers were gettin' kind of stale, imo. I think this game takes the genre to a new level and definatly opened a door or two for new tricks. Hopefully other developers watch and learn.

just what I think. I always thought to myself "Just because we have all this awesome technology inside new systems, that doesnt mean we canthave any side-scrolling platformers" And this proves it, side-scrollers will never go out of style if made correctly. Nintendo is a pro at making platformers.

I just finished it about 5 minutes ago. Took around 24 hours to complete, but I got stuck at a lot of places, I refused to use a strat guide on this game. Im pleased with the length.

Im still convinced the story wouldve made an excellent zelda game, lol, just switch the 8 hearts with broken pieces of the triforce of w/e, and make the Chaos Heart the triforce of power... All kinda fits.

I love how my website's URL is emblazoned on the video, along with my name. Atleast people are laughin' at the video. I should post more funny crap on YouTube.

Beat pit of 100 trials only to find, theres another pit of 100 trials in flopside :p

Not quite as challanging as paper mario 2, 100 trials but fun none the less.

I had to do it twice since I died on level 98 with 2k to next level. Only HP item I brought in was a 50 HP shrum, and never saw a item salesmen on any 10th floor. Second time I saw him 5 times, sutch a crock.
 
The Pit of a Hundred Trials was such a let down :/ I went in expecting a challenge or a mini-boss at least.

there is one, at the end.

And theres another pit in Flopside. Flopsides pit is a little more difficult
 
So, something I didn't see comming. The games gets a little more challenging somewhere between chapter four and five. Puzzles aren't as obvious and 3-D areas aren't as obvious. I have to say, kudos to nintendo on the Cragon levels, those were a real pain and joy at the same time and my god, the hilarity in the dialog. I never expected to lafflaff playing Mario. I think this is probably one of the best console games I've ever played. It most definatly justified my early Wii purchase, since, I'm not a Zelda fan in the slightest of ways.
