In anticipation for the USA Launch of Smash Bros. Brawl this Saturday (March 9th, 2008.), I've started this thread to prepare for anyone wanting to post their Registration Codes for Online Matches and such. I'll be adding to the list as more people share their codes when the game launches. I will also list the names in Alphabetical order.

From Saturday, March 8th, 2008 onward, check back periodically.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

To battle with other people in the Nintendo WFC on Smash Bros. Brawl, both you and the party you are trying to contact need to be on each other's friend lists.

Also... If you want to send Snapshot / Replay / Custom Stage Data to people. They need to be in your Smash Bros. Brawl Friend Roster List in the Nintendo WFC (12-Digit Number) AND in your Nintendo Wii Console Number Friend List (An entirely different 16-Digit Number).

To see the known list of people on QCDN who own Nintendo Wiis, please check the stickied thread at the top of this Nintendo Forum and post your codes there if you like.

I have mine pre-ordered at Best Buy. I cant wait to play, however I wanna practice it before playing on wifi^^

PBR (Pokemon Wii) Had it's own code for playing others, added on to the Wii FC, iirc.

I think you needed both codes to play, or someshit like that.

I didnt read it thoroughly, but I did skim it.

Just from the looks of it, it appears that it just uses the Wii friend code list. Sort of like Metroid Prime 3. I could definitely be wrong, Im just going by what the pics look like, and their headers.

Does the JP brawl have seperate codes? Is the online mode activated?

On a side note. Sometimes, I think about buying that "Pirates of the Caribbean" MMORPG and naming myself "Captain Doodie the Butt-Pirate" and waiting for overzealous parents to complain on the Disney.com message boards.

Sounds like you only need the Brawl Code, apparently.

I suppose that's kinda nifty to only need one... if I'm correct, that is.
 
I'm probably gonna drive down to wal mart or walk to the blockbuster next to my house on sunday. Didn't really feel bothered enough to put down a reservation, and I'm pretty sure Gamestop only ordered enough to fill preorders+5.

Most newer Gamestop stores that don't have the bigger sales numbers get at least 5-10 copies of new titles to preorder and a few more than that to put on the shelves, the ones with the larger sales numbers get a lot more, even in excess of 50+ to preorder, it's all about the sales numbers really, it varies from store to store.
 
They can't limit you on pre-orders. If you have 40 people pre-order a game and you only send the store 5 it is going to raise some hell. What differs is how many you get to sell that aren't preordered. Games like Super Smash will get a lot more to put on the shelf regardless of how well your store does.

Where as a game like No More Heroes was only filling Preorders and a couple extra, and a game like Conflict: Denied Ops was only shipping preorders.
