I am not sure how many of you watch this show; but I was skeptical of the show when it first came on but after watching an episode during the first season I was hooked. It comes on after Smallville on Thursdays.

Found some information on the upcoming 4th season and it really sounds like its just getting better.

Eric Kirpe reveals: What happens to Dean in hell and how Dean gets out become primary concerns of Season 4. [...] Dean spends a lot more time in hell than anyone's probably thinking. Dean could spend - in human time - six months, maybe more. In hell time, who knows how many years or decades that might be. I won't tell you how he gets out, but he will emerge to a different landscape. A lot has changed since he's been away, and he has to readjust to his loved ones after being gone for so long. [...] It takes hundreds of years to be burned away into a demon. Dean won't be a demon, but there will be an ongoing mystery. When he gets out of hell, he'll have little recollection of what happened to him down there. That's one of the mysteries of the season. [...] Ruby will be back, and we're introducing a new supernatural species. We intend to bring back Steve Williams, the old embittered hermit hunter Rufus. [... Dean's hellish sojourn] will affect [the relationship between the brothers] massively. We'll slowly unfold Dean remembering what happened in hell, and that will drastically affect their relationship. Dean is basically a POW coming home from the worst hellhole - literally - ever. How do you reconnect with your life when you've been through something that horrific? That becomes one of his issues. But don't worry, he's still the same smart ass he always was. [...] We presented [Sam] as immune to [demon Lilith's] powers. We have some twists and turns in store with that. Sam promised Dean right before Dean died that he wasn't going to pursue any of his powers in terms of discovering his potential. Upon Dean's return, Sam tells him "I promised I wouldn't head down that road because you made me promise," but we begin to wonder if indeed that is the truth. For whatever it's worth, the writers have never been this excited about a season. We have some really exciting plot twists.

I fuckin love Supernatural(this and Reaper are the only 2 The CW shows I watch), if I were gay I'd be all over Sam and Dean Winchester, yes I actually said that.

Can't wait for season 4, it can't come soon enough. Sounds great though.

I love this show - I am kind of hoping for a season more like the first. I do love the big story arc but I definitely miss the one-shot scary stories like Benders, Faith, Windego etc. Dean better be in this season a lot - I don't think I could handle half a season of "DID" (damsel in distress). Looking forward to it and I really miss it!

From the sounds of things this season is going to do a lot with Dean and his getting over his time in Hell.

I agree Sabia I definately miss the first season stories. I have to say as much as I miss them I have not been unpleased with the direction the show has gone in. They should throw some of those one-shot stories into the mix with the overall big story arc.

I totally expected this show to suck when it came out and it is honestly one of my favorite shows. I loved the "Groundshog Day" episode where Sam kept trying to save Dean from dying. Depending on how they handle the return of Dean, it could jump the shark. We shall see.

I loved that episode, "Mystery Spot", the countless ways Dean kept dying and Sam's descent into madness from trying to save him lol, loved it, damn that Trickster.

I have faith in Eric Kripke and that he'lll handle the return of Dean fine, season 4 just needs to hurry the hell up, 3 months to go.

I am sure this season will be just as good as the rest. I really hope they have Bobby in more episodes. I don't know what it is but I really like his character on the show.

Having to listen to that same song waking you up every fucking day with Dean singing it would drive anyone to madness I mean come on.

Lol, that's one of my favorite episodes from season 3
And yeah, I like Bobby, hope he's in more episodes too.

Lol Ed Zeddmore and Harry Spengler
Yeah that was another good one, I loved the ending when Dean left the electro magnet and it wiped their hard drives and they lost all their footage.

I love when they first ran into them. Sam is all like oh fuck. Dean is going on and on like who the fuck are these guys then finally Dean finally realizes who they are and just busts out fuck me.

Yeah, I remember meeting them in season 1 in Hell House, that one was funny too, hope we see those guys again sometime in the future.

Wendigo and Faith are my fave episodes :)

Favorite episodes, hmm that's a hard one for me lol

If I had to choose top 5(not necessarily in this order):

Faith
Skin
In My Time of Dying
All Hell Breaks Loose
Jus in Bello

Route 666 was the first episode I ever caught which brought me to the show.

My favorites though are Croatoan and Folsom Prison Blues.

So season 4 premiere is Thursday, September 18th, that week is shaping up to be awesome. Dragon Quest IV for DS on September 16th, my birthday on September 17th, and Supernatural season 4 on September 18th, woohoo.
