So as some of you may of heard / read through my "Absolution Dynamis zone Sniping" post, Yes I have quit Final Fantasy XI. Soon to be turning 19, and graduating high school in a couple days, it's just time to move on for me. I know most of you don't care but for those who do, this is for you. If you are one of the ones who don't care, just stop reading now.
I had played roughly from August 2004 up until May 2009. Throughout that near 5 year time period, I met many friends, and some enemies as well. Those of you who stuck by me made the game real fun. Had some nice Linkshells, and some nice oppurtunities with other Linkshells.
I had transfered a few times. I started out on Quetz, then a bit after the Server transfer came out I went to Fenrir to try something new. Going there was probably my biggest mistake I've ever made. I had made a stupid decision over there that I will always regret even after quitting the game. (For those who don't already know, I had taken a Kirin's Osode from Skarwind on Fenrir. Came back to Quetzalcoatl with it, and yeah the GM's made me return it etc.) Not proud of that at all, but I figure everyone should know for those who didn't already. Doing so cost me my opportunities to get into such Linkshells like Integral, Kaizen, Perseverance(the first time), even AbsolutePerfection, which was just a Sea linkshell at the time. It made me realize how stupid i was to do such a thing. I can honestly say I never did anything wrong like that in my game experience ever again.
After my 3 months on Fenrir I came back to Quetzalcoatl for about a year. Got back in touch with my friends and restarted as best I could. I appreciate how I was treated by my friends when I came back. Even knowing what I did over there, you guys were still nice and respectful to me. What I did over there on Fenrir wasn't like me at all, and you guys knew that and accepted that people make mistakes. Thank you all for those who were apart of that for me.
My last 2 months on the game were spent on Pandemonium in Nirvana. Demetrios offered Gunnerx and I a pearl and we took it. Was the best linkshell I've ever been in. I'm glad to have experienced such a linkshell in my time on Final Fantasy, even though they weren't legit when they actually did HNM for that short time period.
Throughout playing the game, I got pretty well experienced in all aspects of the game. There wasn't a single part of the game I didn't enjoy doing. Enjoyed HNM's the most. It wasn't about outclaiming the other linkshells, or talking trash to them for me. It was all about actually killing them and having fun with it. Sure it sucked when you sit there for nearly 3 hours and don't claim for landkings, but it sure was fun when we did. Never took part in botting on Quetz, even though A lot of us in linkshells like JeanneDaArc, PinkPkuucha, LacunaNodus were accused of botting anyway. I did take part in Nirvana though. I had access to it but never used due to not liking the adjustment from PS2 for 4 years to PC. Also my name would never register right before scanning anyway so yeah, was pointless to being with. Not proud of being apart of that, but I was so I might as well put it in the open.
I'll list those that I can remember that have helped me in some way or another:
JeanneDaArc: My first real big time HNM shell. Probably the most fun I had ever had in an HNM shell. (Besides killing everything on Pandemonium with Nirvana, but that wasn't always fun) Even though Serise quit, we still kept it going for a while. I'm glad he gave me a chance in his shell that day I saved his ass at Xolotl that day.
Only bad experience I really had was that one day in Dragon's Aery where Blaze jacked my N head even after Hiri told him to pass several times, but hey shit happens right?
lolDynamis: Probably the best Dynamis shell I ever had. Even though I joined them 3 different times due to not being able to make mondays and Fridays all the time. You guys got shit done the right way every time, and I'm glad I got to be a apart of that for the time I did.
Integral: You guys let me join in on HNM fights all the time, was really fun. Fygla told me he was ok with me joining twice, but Chemira and Caerloc had declined. Chemira had no real reason to say no. Caerloc had every right to though. I made that bad decision on Fenrir and it came back to haunt me. I appreciate the oppurtunities i had with you guys.
Perseverance: Same deal as Integral pretty much. Only difference is I got to do Dynamis with you guys. One of the most productive Dynamis shells i was ever in.
Galiant: My brother in real life, you got me playing this game. Without seeing you play this game before I started I probably wouldn't have taken it up at all. You helped me get started and helped here and there throughout the time I played.
Gunnerx: Probably my best friend in game, let alone the first. Known you since I started playing. We were still side by side even onto Pandemonium in Nirvana this year. Hope things go well for you over there.
Nicholette: Probably one of the hardest working people I've seen in the game. You taught me a lot in game, whether it was about the game or just attitude in the game in general. You were a great friend and will never be forgotton. Sorry for ditching Prowess when it first started out like I did by going to Fenrir. That was probably the worst three months of my in game career.
Kawanomu: One of few in real life friends that I knew played the game. Made the game more fun. Enjoyed knowing you in game and maybe see you around sometime in person sometime soon.
Littlebigguy: Practically grew up in game together. You stopped playing for a long time but came back a little bit before I transfered. Hope you are still enjoying that BLM gear I gave you.
Auronx: Pretty much the same as Gunnerx, just didn't know you quite as long. Hope you are doing well in game, haven't talked to you for a bit.
Krono: One of many of my Perseverance friends. You were always cool in game and fun to play around.
I know I forgot a lot of you. I'm sorry if I did.
I know these type of things are corny to do. I just wanted to get this out there. I had a lot of fun playing the game, and hope my friends keep playing and further their characters in gear and experience. As I said from the beginning a lot of you probably don't care. So if you don't sorry for wasting your time. Those who do thanks for reading and hope you all have fun continuing to play.

..Good luck Aced. You forgot to mention Serise and the A. body..lol. Did you ever get one? I hope so. I remember that being really important to you. Good luck irl! Keep in touch if you can.
