Anyone here tried gaming this with direct IP connection?
I was trying to 1v1 last night with a buddy and had zero luck. I'm getting him to check with his ISP today or tomorrow if they have any blockages, but on my end I even went as far as putting my computer on the DMZ. I opened the ports I needed, I enabled port forwarding, set SC as a specially allowed application, disabled Vista's firewall, everything.
No matter what we tried, when we attempted to connect it would say "Trying to connect..." and that's it. Tried him hosting with me connecting, then vice versa.
Anyone have issues with this?
