PS3 Surprise Sony Sequel Announcement Thursday

GTTV is due to have a reveal of a surprise Sony sequel this Thursday.

Any ideas what it could be?

The RPG fan in me hopes it's Legend of Dragoon 2 or Dark Cloud 3, but knowing Sony probably something Resistance, Motorstorm, Killzone, Infamous or Uncharted related.
A new Jak and Daxter by Naughty Dog would be cool too.

I will flip out if it is LoD2 though.

I dont think an inFamous sequel announcement would be a surprise. They set it up to have one.

LoD2 would make me jizz my pants etc. Other than that I don't really know what to expect.

I want LoD on the PSN so I can actually play it entirely through and a lot of companies claim about "Surprises' that really aren't.

Sony recently acquired Media Molecule as a 1st party developer so it may be LittleBigPlanet related.

Other than that, I don't really know. But on a hunch I'd say its going to be game that already has a PS3 iteration.

There's apparently a rumor that Final Fantasy XV is in development, so maybe to give us all a near heart attack, maybe that's what'll be announced hahaha ¬_¬;;;;

That wouldn't give me a heart attack. That'd just be about as expected as an Android port of the original Final Fantasy or a new port for the DSi XL, with "enhanced graphics for that large screen"

Why not? Sly Cooper rocks. In fact, seeing as Sucker Punch have an engine built, they could do a new Sly Cooper game, maybe do a rotation of games like Insomniac does with Resistance one year and Ratchet and Clank the other year.

Oh, I know Sly Cooper rocks. It's one of my favorites. I just never got the sense that Sony treated it as a cornerstone franchise worth that kind of advance warning. I'd be more than happy to be proved wrong, trust me. Give me a sequel and a high-def compilation disc for the PS3 and I'll die happy.

A new Sly Cooper would be cool too, Sucker Punch has stated they'd like to return to it in the future, as well as hints in inFamous pointing to a Sly 4.
May not be this upcoming announcement, but I'm sure we will see a new Sly game.

Brian Fleming of Sucker Punch Productions stated in an interview that "We're broadening ourselves a little bit, taking on some new challenges," but also noted that "I think it's extremely likely that you'll see us return to the 'Sly Cooper' franchise at some point in the future." An Easter egg found in the Sucker Punch game inFamous shows a movie called "Sly Cooper 4" on the building's marquis; there is also a Sly Cooper symbol on Cole's backpack. Also, a trophy for finding the game's elusive "Dead drops" awards players with the "You're so Sly" Trophy.

We shall see tomorrow, I won't get my hopes up for LoD2, as to not be disappointed.
Either way, should be interesting to see.

I really hope it's not a shooter. I am so sick of shooters. Gimme a RPG or something that hasn't been beaten to death in 09.

Killzone 3 wouldn't be a sequel. That would be a threequel or whatever the name for something following a sequel is
