Not to say that I would, but it would make things easier if my FFXI game was on PC instead of PS2, as it is right now. Would combine two intenet connections into one.

Can I do that, move my account from PS2 to PC without loosing anything?

Certainly. I think you would have to buy another copy of the game though, to install on PC.

Nothing important will get lost, but some weird stuff does happen. Whenever I switch between my PC and PS2 the items in my safe and bag get all mixed around, simply fixed with the auto sort. And you'll have to update again.

You'll have to re-do all of the following : Map Markers, Macros, AH lists, chat and effect filters, text colors (if you changed them).

You'll wind up with extra content IDs. You could give em to friends or sell them. I had someone buy my extra ffxi codes for 200k, his son wanted to play he didn't want to buy another copy of the game.

I play on both ^^

Its a blast to see the difference sometimes. I prefer the PS2 for comfort, control and sound (surround home theater system with a 53" TV) but the pc cant be beat for GFX.

I take all my screenies and stuff on the PC, and Ill usually farm on it as well,
but I find the PS2 to be much easier on lag in highly populated areas.
