This is not a rant. It is just something that was funny
about last night.

This happened to me in the crawler's nest.
I joined the xp party and the party leader
asked me if I had Tachi: Teki yet.

I didn't know what he meant so I just said.
"You don't get that at this level."
...thinking to myself Teki???...
I mentioned it to the linkshell for a big
laugh. Someone mentioned it is a typo on
one of the Renkai charts. It must be on a
chart that I don't use.

Funny anyway.

I haven't played nin so I was unaware that Teki was a Katana
skill. Someone brought it to my attention that there is a typo
in the brady guide. Listed as "Tachi: Teki" under G.Katana.

Still, that was the first time I heard of Teki and thought he
was making it up. Was funny.

Did you just mention bradley games? oohhhhh, lol, you mean that book that just came out of my ass. Ok^^;

Yeah the Brady guide is definately not the best thing in
the world. The only things I like about it are the tables
of recipes and food effects, mob weaknesses and detection
types. There were some minor "noob" type information
that I had missed as well.

I mean let's face it, the OEM instruction book is no peach
either. More and more I have been using the web for info.
However, It is a little hard to use while in game.

(Only reason why I would LOVE a windower program. That
and PT downtime, I could play solitaire until they wake up.
But that section of this reply could be in the RANT section.)

*cough* /em downloads. *cough*

/*cough I'm gonna try it out thanks! /end cough :P

windower doesn't work.
The gamma darkens as warned by
the main website but it still goes to
full screen. ALT + TAB does not
kill it at least.

Re: full screen--check to see what resolution you're playing the game at in the FFXI Config program. If you're running the game at your current (or higher) resolution, the game will still take up the whole screen.

ah TY will try.

OMG this kicks aspirin!
I'm in the game as my mule: Dufflite

I have an ATI card and I have two profiles
to solve the gamma issue. Profile Normal is
for normal ffxi and pc use. Profile FFXI Windowed
has the gamma boosted.

I had to adjust the resolution and use the hardware
mouse curser but I'm doing it.

Thanks!
/em hands you a semi-imported Dufflite.
