PSP Tactics Ogre: Wheel of Fate (Let us Cling Together) announced for North America.

I'm loving it as well! I'm finding it harder than the original so far too. It takes more getting used too, but it truly is an excellent remake.

Ya, it really is a lot for a SRPG. Fun as fuck but still a lot. There any way to super grind or farm skill points like you could in FFTactics? I hate this legit shit lol and I want to lvl everything awesomely and equally.

If you're in Chapter 2 (and on the L Route. Baramus Massacre first choice, where you slaughter the town), once you make it back to Amorica Castle if you go to the Warren Report you can unlock the Phorampa Wildwoods, which is just north of Krizar and Tynemouth Hill. *This could also appear on other routes, I'm pretty sure it would*

Warren Report -> Talk -> Phorama Open to Hunting.

This place gives you basically infinite battles, and you can also obtain the Dragoon, Swordmaster/Samurai, and Ninja cards. As well as Fairy and Dragons (thunder and blue). Pretty good place to grind. It gets progressively harder as you go further in. It's an alternative to random battles.

(Your lower ranked people will gain EXP a lot quicker, too. But it's hard to use too many of them in battles cause your level makes a gigantic difference)

I'm still in chapter 1. I'm trying to get all classes up to 10 before I continue much story. I was just told to go to Bsomething another after talking with the Dark Knight there.

What kind of army is everyone using?

I'm using a mostly female Pt which consists of Main char with a sword/bow, A female War with a sword/bow, A Valk with a Lance, a Female wizard(dual mage clubs, female cleric(dual mage clubs), Beast master(Axe and shield)(But I'm not too impressed with them, they kind of suck), Canobird man there(With a Stonebow)(I lost his main class due to me trying to save that fucking Valk in Rhime. I changed him to cleric to get to her so that bitch would stop dying without thinking about having a card to change him back to his good class. I could not win that mission unless I changed him to a cleric.), and a female archer with a great bow.

Ugh, need to pick this up soon, but DQVI took precedence over it last week.

Will be picking it up Friday with my paycheck, plus Ys I & II Chronicles will be here Tuesday, and I'm nowhere close to being done with DQ.
Good god games, too many, so little time.

I may download this off the psn but I was saving my money for Pokemon Black. The only tactics game I played was FFT on Ps1 and Jeanne D'Arc which was awesome (and pretty fucking sad).

Don't worry, enemy hawkmen can drop the Vartan card so you can change Canopus back.

I use pretty much one of every class, I think they've done a really good job making each class feel different. I also have a Cloud Dragon, Cylcops and Gryphon :D

Also, the Phorampa (sp?) Wildwood is available in the Chaos Route as well. After the battle with Vice, check the Warren Report for it to appear. I'm not sure when it goes away.

You definatley should get this Cua! It's worth every bit of the price on it. I liked the original TO more than FFT to begin with, but the remake just makes it even better.

Oh and Myrrh! You mentioned Beastmaster isn't any good, but they do have some nice specials to boost the really great Large Monsters. My beastmaster plays a chemist-like role with a Lobber, which works out really great imo :D In chapter two (maybe before, I can't exactly remember) you can get throwable bombs (you need Field Alchemey II) as well, which do tremendous magic damage at a 5 panel target. They're a bit pricey, however. (Of course, most classes can use Lobber :v)

Who the fuck is Denam and when can I get him? I keep seeing shit on Gamqfaqs that mention him but no one says how to get him.

Denim Powell (Denam Pavell) is your main character D:

http://luct.tacticsogre.com/ - This site is for the old PS1/SNES Tactics Ogre. It will not be 100% identical, but it would be a good guide of sorts for special characters as most of it is seeming very close so far.

Oh ahahaha. Ya, I changed my main chars name to Mouse and I made teh Limecat Clan lol Fucking derp on me

That shit happens. I went all the way to level 30 in DQIX trying to figure out how to get a full damn party until I realized I had to hire my own. ><

Can we adhoc this game? I'd love to face some people and see the different styles of play.

If you figure out how too, I think that'd be a lot of fun :D

I'm roughly level 13-14 atm, what about you?

Exactly the same actually. I just finished grinding my Terror Knight and that Sam class that has no fucking useable weapons at the start of Chapt 2 to 13. thinking of doing the forest till everyone is 15 or doing story. Not sure yet. I need more money and craftables.

You have me on PSN? We should set up a room and see if we can

I was thinking about buying this.
Then I bought Ys Seven instead.

I'll be getting this soon, next week-ish when I get my tax return, this weekend though I'm picking up Radiant Historia since by nature Atlus titles are generally rarer to find.
Though between DQVI, Ys I & II Chronicles, Xenogears on PSN, Tactics Ogre, Radiant Historia, and Dragon Age 2 next month I'll be overwhelmed.

This entire quarter is just really unfair to JRPG fans on a budget.

Then in June I have the InFamous 2 Hero Edition at $100, and lord knows what else coming, argh.
Next month is also Dissidia Duodecim, The 3rd Birthday, and The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky FC.
April is FFIV: The Complete Collection, sometime in the future there's FF Type-0, FFXIII-2, Versus, Zelda: Skyward Sword.

Not to mention the 3DS, NGP, and shit like Resistance 3, Uncharted 3, Mass Effect 3, among others.
2011 is just plain nuts for gaming in general.

I'm loving this year for games. Shit's gonna be awesome

Also, I just got my first Dragon in TO. Holy fucking shit broken mobs are broken. I had a lvl 3 Dragon murder a lvl 14 Archer. Fucking awesome. I've done several fights in those Woods there and all I've done in them is weaken enemies to where they are recruitable. lol I got myself a Ninja, dragoon, Terror Knight, and something else that I don't even have access too yet lol

Now I get to spend more time grinding those new classes to 15 to catch up to my others D:
