Tactics Pearl?

I ended up getting this while using my NPC in the promyvion the other day. Haven't had a chance to test this just yet, but does this now allow me to call out my NPC twice? Once for around 45 minutes with the signal pearl, and then immediately after if I use the tactics pearl?

Also, was going through some of the topics about NPCs and was wondering if someone could link to some good FAQs on the NPC quests, such as upgrading weapons, genkai, being able to upgrade their equipment etc.

The Tactics Pearl allows you to bring your npc out just like the signal pearl, only the recharge time on it is 10 minutes instead of 20 hours. The only difference is that the Tactics Pearl can only be used four times and then you have to toss it and get a new one (which you can only do once per RL week).

Nope. Strictly speaking, you just have to find the ??? for the pearl.

However, every mob you kill gives EXP towards your NPC. At the end when you check the point and declare yourself finished, theres an EXP bonus, seperate from what your NPC obtained from the mobs, based on the number of mobs you killed(capped at 30 kills,) and which floor you finished the quest on.
