Tagging

While we're on tags it seems flameboard tags can be edited by everyone o.O

Not sure if thats supposed to happen

Well they were disabled because of member abuse, so if the FB is experiencing tag-abuse, then we'll have to take action again. Until then I see no issue with it as it stands. It is supposed to be a system for enhancing search, if people view it like wiki, they can fight abuse and misleading tags.

You aren't the only one. Ugh they drive me insane. On some of them the tags are so huge that they force the link to take up two lines instead of one. That's just poor webpage design. Not to mention they in their present state serve no real purpose. If they were clickable and you could find similar topics it "might" be useful.... Ideally, they would just be really small, tiny clickable words written right under the topic. So as an inflated example (obviously this would be shrunk down to normal size....)

They need to be gotten rid of, completely. It looks horrible as it skews title names, page links, etc. Not to mention how absolutely useless it is.

Ah, I didn't have a complaint with them until I clicked on Nightshift. I see what you mean...
 
I disabled tagging unless I can figure out why it won't obey me when I tell it to limit it to displaying 2 tags per thread.
 
They're unnecessary, just leave them out >_>
