and how many HP he have? O.O 640 hit x4 = 2.5k HP and more? or he using Action Reply with inf HP? XD

Yeah that was a bit of a cover-blower.

"We just started playing the game... before you ban us, can you warp us to a zone we've never heard of to fight an NM we have no idea about? Gee I hope I guessed that zone and NM name right"
 
Actually they lost the newbie thing as soon as they said they did /sea all.

I don't know about you but i didn't know about that till 20+

Basic commands can be found in the instruction booklet or even the *shudder* Brady guide. That wouldn't have thrown me as much as bringing up advanced zones and moreso knowing which one Fafnir resides in. :D
 
They could claim they had a freind that told them there was this monster that was teh most wanted by everyone in the game.

I actually did. I took the book to work and read it while I had nothing to do. I think I was one of the few noobs that knew how to make a macro.

I only read the manual to learn how to do all the cool purple-text emotes. That was the definition of l33t to me when I was... eh who am I kidding. It's still l33t.
 
Ah I see why you specified people. only gods such as myelf have the wisdom and foresight to read the goddamned manual to learn how to make emotes.

GMs read BG. Their cover was blown as soon as Taj posted that he got on there.
 
Interesting individuals.
Its kinda cool they got the GM to solo that dragon.
I wonder if the GM got the two players killed purposely though.

I always thought that players could actually participate in the test servers at a price like server crashes, glitched data, and what not.
I guess I was wrong. :-)

Then again when I started the game, World Selection was unavailable.
I mean you could choose any, granted you had a World Pass.
Otherwise, you were bound to a random world at times.

Maybe they had something to crack into that, and find out the world pass numbers were for that server? When did this actually take place, prior to the updates on World Selection or afterwards?
 
For other games, yeah. Test servers are playable, but anything that happens because of bugs isn't undoable. Lost or Gained items.

I think FFXI has it's own play testing team though.
