Xbox360 Tales Of Vesperia Post Release

Lots of side questing and farming items up for synthesis.

What level are you and what side quests have you done? We haven't been slacking off on progressing, but I can't imagine you've done nearly as much as us unless you're playing on easy or something.

I hear this game coming to ps3 with extra content now.

Doesn't matter much to me, as I've already got the 360 version and doubt this content will make me open my wallet again - but it's good news for ps3 only people - cause this is the best 360 exclusive of 2008 IMO. Well, if you like shooters more than RPGs you'll probably think Gears 2 is the best exclusive, but that's personal preference I suppose.

Source? Link? Anything?

I understand why this might happen as it happened to Eternal Sonata, but is there really any proof?

Either way, if it happens, woo hoo, if it doesn't, hey, I can wait till it comes out over here in Europe on the 360 (Probably the only reason I'll actually play it again)... on June 26th 2009...

So far I've heard that scan was completely bogus and if you look at it, it does looked photo shopped. So it's a confirmed fake....

Though I still seeing it being ported eventually because the game hasn't sold well at all (250k) and it could quite possibly be the best RPG this gen not counting Mass Effect or Valkyria Chronicles.

ToV can hold fame to one thing though despite the low sales. It's the ONLY Xbox 360 game to make it into Japan's top 100 of 2008. That's certainly something amazing.

And hey, if it does get ported, maybe PS3 owners will get lucky and the extra content won't be dress up games and 2 characters right at the last area of the game, that are still vastly inferior to the Allegretto, Jazz, and Chopin rape train, like the Eternal Sonata port. :awesome:

Never underestimate the power of exclusive extra costumes =3

Tales of Symphonia's PS2 port had unlockable biker costumes, it was hilarious!

The difference is that Tales of Symphonia costumes actually affected Stat growth. I'm fairly certain Eternal Sonata alternate outfits did absolutely nothing.

This is one of few games I would be extremely excited to see a port of.

I bought a 360 basically just for this game, being a huge tales fan, and it's the best new JRPG I've played in at least 4 years. Absolutely love this game, and would love to see it ported with some new stuff.

I hope it gets ported because it'll mean more sales which will help everybody in the long run. The game also hasn't released in Europe yet, so it's not done yet.

Yeah we are having to wait till bloody June 26th. If there IS a port coming to the PS3 with extras then it'll probably be around June that it'd arrive in Japan, maybe. I'm not sure.

Like you didn't see this one coming. Namco Bandai has finally announced a PS3 version of Tales of Vesperia. The game's exclusivity to Xbox 360 was always questioned, especially after a few noteworthy slip-ups on Namco Bandai's part. Like Eternal Sonata before it, the upcoming PS3 version of Vesperia will be enhanced over the original. Details are scarce for now, but the game will feature at least one new character. Japan will receive the enhanced port later this year.

In addition to Vesperia, the Japanese magazine debuted another Tales game for the PlayStation systems. Tales of VS, a PSP-exclusive that looks to be Namco Bandai's attempt at a Dissidia clone. The screens showcase characters from a number of Tales games brawling in a 3D environment, and indicate that VS looks to outdo Square Enix's fighter by offering support for up to four characters. As long as games like VS continue to be announced, it looks as though PSP is going to have another monster year in Japan.

[Thanks to everyone that sent this in!]

I officially have no reason to get the 360 version now =3

This is easily gonna come to NA and EU!

Please move to multi-plat =)
